As Huening Kai finished lessons today, he immediately left the school building and ran for a patisserie shop near the school area.

The shop bulding was slightly damaged due to earthquake, thankfully they still survived the tsunami, otherwise there wouldn't be any patisserie shops existing anymore since the rest of the shops were carried away by wave.

"Do you even know what kind of flavour Choi Soobin likes?" Jeongin asked. He was there to accompany Ningning.

"No," Ningning answered, but he sounded very positive about his decision, "I'm gonna just pick standard flavour but I think he will like strawberry, don't you think?"

"Isn't your dad going to get angry if he knows that you spend money for something like this?" Jeongin wasn't persuaded enough.

"This is not a crime. I do this for good, he won't say anything to me."

Since his mother passed away, Huening Kai's father was the only one left and he now became a singke parent with three beautiful kids by his side. His dad had become an overprotective person since the tsunami disaster happened. It was very understandable that he was afraid to lose one more family member after his beloved wife was gone.

The two boys came back to the camp, Huening Kai got a package of strawberry cake in hand.

"Go with me to the seniors!" Huening Kai asked Jeongin. Somehow Jeongin was concerned by Ningning's decision because he noticed how cold and selfish those volunteers were, he just had to hold back not spilling the teas to other victims about their folgery. Yet, Jeongin still agreed to go with Huening Kai.

"Hello!" Huening Kai bowed his upper body politely as he reached bunch of volunteers at the base. "Is Soobin hyung here?"

"Oh, he comes back with a cake!" Beomgyu looked excited.

"U-uhh... yes... but this is for—"
"What's the matter?" A big, tall figure appeared from the other side, glancing at Huening Kai from head to toe, and the cake was the last scene he pictured.

Weird, because Huening Kai felt nervous when he met Soobin. He couldn't stay cheered whenever that pouty guy was around.

"Y-yes..." Huening Kai trembled. "I didn't get the chance to say thank you for the bread. And I don't think the cookies were enough, so I buy you a cake."

"This kid right has balls to talk with Soobin." Hyunjin shook head, jokingly appreciated Ningning's effort.

Ningning handed the package to Soobin, but the older man didn't react immediately and pretended as he wasn't breathing for a second.

The atmosphere around them was transforming cold, not purely because of the weather but the silince that sliced the space.

"I didn't ask." Soobin said.

"You didn't but you are kind to me."

Those words were warming for Soobin, he never expected someone that small would do something big for him. But Soobin was going through hardship expressing his feelings.

"If Soobin doesn't accept your cake, you can give it to me instead." Said Hyunjin.

"Hey! Ningning bought that extra for Soobin hyung." Jeongin howled immediately, not accepting that his friend's effort was being teased.

"Well calm down, I was just asking. You spent money not for being rejected, yeah?"

Jeongin was not pleased.

"Thank you." Soobin immediately moved, reaching out to the cake and taking it forhimself. "You didn't have to do this." Soobin looked emotionless, not seeming to be thankful at all.
