4.30 AM and Soobin hadn't got a minute of sleep, yet. The heart beated faster than ever, Soobin was concerned that he sustained any kind of illness and ready to be diagnosed, but finding out that he experienced insomnia because of something else, made the situation even worse.
He wished he died already.
Multiple attempts to sleep were tried during the night. When he looked at his friends at the other bunks, sleeping peacefully and quitely, Soobin wanted to throw himself out of the window. Probably he wanted to kill himself, just to make sure that he closed his eyes. But that wasn't something a doctor would do, not if Soobin was clever enough. He tried drinking a carton of almond milk at 2 AM, people said it would help fighting against trouble sleeping, but Soobin's body reject the nice offer to rest, he was full instead.
Soobin went back and forth, not knowing what to do on his not-so-comfortable bunk. The last few days had worked very well with the bunk, no complain or back pain, just some harsh days passed by behind them and they could still wake up healthily in the morning. For the first time after a week, Soobin hated his bed so much. Fortunately, he got the lower bunk and Beomgyu slept above him. Later when the night almost reached dawn, Soobin realised (again) that the container they were sleeping in was very small and narrow.
Love made him stay, however.
Unknown anxiety forced him to stay awake, but he kept his voice low so that he wouldn't disturb his friends. He nearly forgot that he actually owned a smartphone, the tight schedule was somehow tiring, but very healthy for them. Soobin then took his smartphone from his backpack and played with it, scrolling through vague timeline providing random contents. Another thing that reminded Soobin as soon as he touched his phone: Huening Kai didn't have one and that was overwhelming.
I should really get him one, he thought.
5 AM. Soobin didn't want to waste more time and took a quick bath instead. As soon as he came out of the 2 x 2 sized bathroom, he was startled by Jungkook's sassy appearance, with a towel and shower stuffs with him.
"You are very early." Jungkook said, then yawned.
"I can't sleep."
"I know, I heard you all the time."
"...sorry."
"The van is already outside, you can put your stuff in the car first and tell the driver to wait."
Jungkook's power, he would do something huge even for his friends without having to think twice. The person who came out with the idea of doing Seoul trip was Soobin, yet Jungkook contributed about 80% of all spending in total.
"Thanks." Soobin pat Jungkook's shoulder and let him use the bathroom, meanwhile Soobin got ready and took care of his things.
The sky was partly still dark, he could see the blue sky started to appear but very slowly. Sun hadn't showed up, but thankfully it wasn't so cold at the time. Soobin went to Jungkook's van that was parked outside of the area, or more likely a grand van that successful idols usually rode on.
"Good morning." Soobin kindly greeted the driver.
"I'll take care of your carrying, Sir." The driver carefully reached to Soobin's bags and put them in the baggage.
"Thank you. Jungkook and my friends will shortly come outside, they just woke up."
It had been a while since Soobin was treated like a prince again. During service days, he had to take care of everything by himself, no one served meals for him, no one drove him from place to place, no one prepared his things before he got up from sleep, and that didn't only apply to Soobin, but also his friends.
