It's been 6 months since I've seen Carl. Since I've talked to him, kissed him, hugged him. Everything feels so... so wrong without him. "Ethan, you okay?" Remmy asks me as he notices I've been staring off into space for a while. "Yeah, I'm good. Just keep driving."
Remmy and I have been trying to drive to anywhere safe, being careful of the other people we've come across. We stop in neighborhoods and houses to search for places to sleep and stuff to eat.
It's about 7 am when I hear sudden yelling and walker moans, waking me up. "Remmy, stay in the car. Don't leave no matter what." I order, oepning the door and running quietly to the sounds.
I run up just in time to see a boy with medium brown hair and bright blue eyes fighting off walkers.
It's Carl.

He kicks one of the walkers away, but three more come chase him because of his loudness. "Watch out!" I grab my hatchet out of my bag and swing it at the walker's heads. Two of them fall to the ground, dead, while the other one keeps chasing after Carl.
He picks up a long tree branch and hits it, making it fall to the ground. He stomps on its head to kill it.
He looks up, walker blood now all over his face and body. "Ethan..?" His eyes widen, dropping the tree branch, trying to step forwards. "Carl!" I yell, running up and engulfing him in a hug. "Oh my god it really is you." He whispers, hugging me back.
I pull away, laughing as tears swell my eyes. "I-I thought you were dead!" I put both my hands up, holding his face. "I thought the same thing! Well that you were dead, not me because obviously I'm ali-"
"Oh my god I've missed you so much Ethan. And your cursed rambling."
Then he pulls me into a kiss.
It wasn't passionate, like sex-passionate, but the kind of passionate kiss that I had seen on TV before. The one between the two lovers after all the confusion and bitterness that happened in the plot, that just brought them together in the end.
It was a sweet, long kiss. His lips smashed onto mine, I quickly kissed back just as rough and lovely as his. I hugged him, he picked me up and nuzzled his nose to my neck, sending shivers down my spine.
"I missed you so much..."
