Chapter 20- conversations about heartbreak

Me and y/n start to want to home room and some how, every time we are late. We walk into the room and the teacher had an angry look on her face. We quickly sit down at a four person desk but with no one else.

during the role I kept seeing Grayson look over to y/n smiling her and her returning one.

" what is up with you and Grayson?" I ask curiously

" he likes me and I like him. we aren't dating but we are in a really good place at the moment. he even asked me on a date!" y/n says with a beaming smile stamped across her face

" oh" you say looking down

" how are things with Ethan?" I hear y/n say

" nothing is happening, he sent me horrible messages about how he never wants to see me again and that he never liked me" I say starting to tear

" I am sure those things he said aren't true, maybe it was a dare or something really bad happened" she says bringing me in for a hug

Y/N'S P.O.V

Ethan better fix things with Emma fast. I can tell he really hurt her al though it wasn't really him.

Ethan looks back to see me hugging Emma and I mouth to him ' fix things now' looking mad.

after the teacher finished doing the role Emma was all good again and Grayson popped up from his chair to join us. Emma had her head down and wasn't even paying attention to him. he came and sat on my side of the table and Ethan then joined us aswell. There was only one seat left on the table and of course it was next to the girl who's heart was just broken by him. Emma looks up and shoots her head straight back down when she realises the twins were here.

" hey Em" Ethan says

Emma ignores him and I look to see Ethan's eyes going glassy. He knew he messed up big time with Emma

" just be honest with her" Grayson says to Ethan

" you should really tell her the reason why you sent those messages" I say

Emma looks up at me confused

" what are you talking about" she finally speaks
