I don't know what I'm going to do about the secret. I guess I'm just gonna have to lay low and stay away from Ethan.
-next day at school-
I walk in to home room and Ethan looks at me. I give him a light smile and he just looks away.
I decide to sit next to y/n and across from her is Grayson, which means Ethan is across from me
Y/n: hey Emma
Emma: hey guys
Grayson: what's up with you Ethan
Ethan: nothing
He looks at me and then looks away
Y/n: wait a second. ARE YOU TWO DATING?!
Ethan: no
Emma: I wish
I whispered under my breath so know one could here me

We have a seating plan and I'm next to y/n. I really don't feel like talking to anyone, especially not Emma's best friend
Y/n: hey buddy
Ethan: hey
Y/n: how are things with you and Em?
Ethan: great
I said sarcastically

Ethan: she ran away from me after telling me she loved James
Y/n: what? I thought she liked you
Ethan: me too
Y/n: do you like her though?
Ethan: what's not to like about her
Y/n: sit her down and tell her then
Ethan: but she doesn't feel the same
Y/n: I have known Emma for a very long time and I can tell when she likes someone
Ethan: does she like me?
Y/n: YES! I saw that kiss from the other day and sparks flew
