Chapter 21- what really happened

ETHAN'S P.O.V

the bell rings and we have to go to 1st period, we all had science together. That was good because I can explain what happened, to Emma

" you really want to know what happened?" I say while looking at Emma

" yes please, that is the least you could do" She said while still looking down

" well James Charles, me and Gray's best friend threatened to hurt you if I didn't stop talking to you. he also said I had to send those exact messages. I did not mean one bit of those messages. you are so kind, smart, beautiful, and deserve the world, truly" I say looking Emma in the eyes this time

her start to go glossy. She dives right into my chest, hugging me. I pulled her in tightly and whispered ' I am so sorry, but I promise nothing will happen to you'.
Emma starts to tear but in a happy cry. We keep walking to science with Gray and y/n. I am gonna ask Emma on a date today, maybe even it science, who even knows!

We get to class and I open the door for everyone. all of u sit down at a 6 seater desk together.

GRAYSON'S P.O.V

As I was pulling my books I remembered that James was in our Science.

" E, bro, James is in this class with us. He will know something is up if we are sitting with Emma" I quickly say to Ethan before James will walk in the class any minute

" we are gonna have to move away from them then. also pretend that you don't know about the whole Emma situation" Ethan says back

" I got you bro" I say to Ethan as we suttely fist bump

" sorry Emma, y/n, but James will know that I told you if I am still sitting with you guys" Ethan say as we pack up our things

" oh, ok. but will this be a permanent thing from now on?" Emma says with sadness in her voice

" I really don't know, Em" Ethan says walking away

I could tell they both really didn't want to move away from each other, just like I didn't want to move away from y/n, but we had to do what was best for Emma's safety.

About 5 minutes later James walks into class. He looks at Ethan and then sits down. Mr.Johnrist, our teacher begins the role; Richy, James, Emma, Ethan, Grayson.. ect

" today we are going to be doing an experiment and we will be getting into groups of four. there will be two girls and two boys." mr.Johnrist says

" James, Richy, Emily, and Piper. Ethan, Grayson, Emma, and y/n.. ect" he continues

I zone out after that

I start freaking out, I am in a group with Emma. I am happy about it but also paranoid. who knows what James is capable of. As I hop up Gray realises me breathing heavily. he tells me not to worry because the teacher chose the groups and not me. I agree and walk over to y/n and Emma
