There’s been rumours going around about me, rumours that are forever leaving me cautious that something bad could happen if I wasn’t careful. I could just be over reacting, but since I’m in college, anything could happen. What made it worse is that our college was in Falcon Claw, one of the most dangerous countries on our planet. At any point could somebody... Never mind. I don’t want to think of what happened with Garroth and that other gut.
By now you’re probably wondering what the rumour is in the first place. I was supposedly sleeping with guys every three days, constantly changing boyfriends and cheating on them. A new one was that I was also dating girls, which was mad because honestly I wouldn’t even mind that. Katelyn looked so happy with Luka, after all.
With the entire campus hearing about it, it was hard to not be around people talking about it. My only safe place was in Aaron’s dorm room, since we were the only two allowed in. His father trusted me to not make Aaron angry, and allowed me to see him. I was in there now, laying on this couch. We were hanging out as he finished one of his essays.
"I'm bored..." I mutter, sitting up.
"What do you want to do?" He asks, turning around to face me.
"I don't know!" I shrug, standing up. "I want to go and get lunch but... You know.."
"I'll get it and bring it back here if you want."
   "Really?" I smile bright.
"Anything for you." He gets up, grabbing his wallet. "What do you want?"
   "PB and J." I smile.
"Anything else? You need to eat, Tera told me you haven't been eating much."
"Fine, if they have muffins can I have one?"
   "Yep." He smiles, walking out.
I lay back down on the couch, playing a game on my phone as I waited. He walked back with the food after a half hour, giving it to me. I smile bright when I saw hot cocoa too. "Thank you!"
   "No problem." He chuckles.
"No, really, thank you!" I get my purse out my pocket.
"Hey, don't worry about the money. I just want you to be healthy."
   "Thanks..." I smile, eating it.
   "No problem."
We finished eating, and sat down to watch 50 Shades of Grey because we were bored as hell. Playfully, he covered my eyes when it got to a sex scene. "Hey! I'm old enough to watch this now!" I pout, trying to force his hand away.
"I know." He chuckles. "But it'd be awkward."
"Touché." I sigh and lean back, waiting. I smirk and cover his eyes as well.
   "Seriously?"
"I can tell your watching it. I don't want you to."
   "Why?"
"I don't want you to become like every other guy in the world that only thinks about sex."
"You're mad." He says, but sighed.
He removes his hand when he was sure it was over, so I did too. "I need to go out." He says, looking at his watch and getting up.
   "Where are you going?"
"I need to work on a project with Jenny. You can stay here if you want, I don't mind."
"No, it’s okay. I have a class." I lie, getting up too.
"Okay." He smiles. "Bye Aph." He walks out.
"Bye!" I lock the door behind him since he gave me a key to it. I followed him secretly, and sat against the tree near where they were going to work.
  "Yay! You're here!"
   "Am I late?" He chuckles.
She giggles. "No, not at all. Before we begin though, c-could I tell you something..? Actually, its two questions..."
   "Sure, go ahead."
"A-are you and Aphmau... More than friends?" My eyes widen as I sit up against the tree.
   "Uh... No, why..?"
"Good... What do you think of me..?"
   "W-What?!"
"I just wanted to know... Sorry..!"
"No, i-it’s okay, don't worry... I-I think you're... Beautiful, smart..."
   "Seriously?"
"Well, yeah. Why do you ask?"
This was when I felt my anxiety start. She didn't say anything, but I could hear her breathing from here. "Aaron..." She said, she was also crying which made me secretly sad for her.
"Okay, I can see what you're trying to say..." He sighed. "In fact, I know where this is going too."
   "Is it seriously that obvious..?"
   "Kind of..."
   "Oh..."
"Listen, I-I really don't want to be rude but... I-I like somebody else."
"Wait, who? I-I mean of you don't mind telling me!"
I peeked around the tree, but out of sight so I could see what was going on. He was sat cross legged on the floor, looking down. "Uh... Aphmau..."
"The slut?" She raises an eyebrow. I quickly rose to my feet, running back to my dorm with tears in my eyes. Even one of the people I thought was my friend was calling me that behind my back. I didn't have to panic about the fact he liked me, because we both knew about each other since the entire crying in my closet ordeal and our first kiss. But Jenny, I always thought she was better than this. I rushed into my dorm room, shutting the door behind me.
"Hey Aphmau..." Tera muttered, not looking up from Netflix on the TV. She was a sucker for it.
"What are you watching?" I smile and sit beside her.
   "Stranger Things."
"Of course." I giggle and watch it too.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door only a few seconds later. "I'll get it." She gets up and pauses the TV, It walking over and opening it. "Oh, hey."
"Can I talk to Aphmau quickly?" I heard Aaron's voice say. My eyes widen as I rush over to him, pulling him to the storage cupboard. "Woah! What's up?" He chuckles.
