Unlike the first book, which was supposed to be vague enough for you or whoever you want to become the main character's, I actually have a cast in mind for at least the three main characters. So, behold your Nathanial Dillon, played by Theo James.

Nathanial Dillon POV

Okay, looks good. Hair has been cut. Got a clean shave. Smell fresh as lavender. I wanted to be different and they didn't have daisy scented body wash or shampoo/conditioner. I've had my breakfast and the day is pretty perfect. I look good in my suit and made it to work on time, ready for Alpha Stanley's pack meeting to discuss some renovations regarding our little town.

"Hi Luna Stacey. Is the Alpha already there?"

"No, he's actually upstairs sleeping." My eyes widen at the blonde woman in casual wear with a cup of coffee in her hand and her face breaks into a smirk, knowing my question before I could voice it. "I didn't wake him up because I didn't want to. Not after the last time, where I got chewed out for waking him up before my cup of coffee to give me patience. Fault that whole morning until he felt he could leave our little spat because of 'work'. Don't worry, he will be down in three....two..."

"God fuck! Stacey why didn't you wake me-ah!" Crash

Ouch. Both me and Stacey wince as we see the disaster on the floor limp with feet and legs still resting on the stairs he just fell down.  I grow concerned for the man, but she Luna just sighs and walks over to help him up.

"You know exactly why I didn't wake you up. Come on, up you go. Besides, you had an alarm. What happened to it?", she says as she helps him up and brushes off the dust from his wrongly buttoned white shirt. She then rebuttons his work and redoes  the knot with a tail hanging on his neck and makes into what we consider a tie.

"I know, I know. I don't deserve you or your gorgeous benevolence, blah, blah. Forgive me, though?" He says with a pout.

"Gee, what a marvelous apology. So eloquent in the way you said 'blah, blah', but fine, you big dummy", she punctuates with a kiss. Their friendly banter is so sweet. It is then that I feel the longing to have someone like that. Someone to be there for me to sass and fuss over. Or someone do that to me. I don't care how our dynamics go. I just want them to find me soon because I can't leave this town. They need me here at the Mallory Pack, called Mallory Village on the map. The human settlements in our world are clueless to our secluded affairs, with exception of the lucky few who become mates.

They share a kiss good-bye as me and the Aloha walk to the Pack House, where the meeting between a couple of us Betas and some leading Gammas wait for us. As we go over the plans for the expansion and possible reconstruction if our humble little slice of paradise. Almost everything is perfect here and I don't see myself finding anywhere that isn't the place I grew up in. Here at Mallory Pack, since I was just a born baby.

I am pretty young for a Beta, the ripe age of 17 going on 18 tomorrow with a Gamma called Valerius Valentine. He and I never communicated much throughout our life, but our mothers couldn't get enough each other and our fathers always found a chance to  pal around. Still, he himself, Valerius that is, are friendly enough with the other. Though he shows no reactions to me in general, no matter how many times times I greet him, I can still see on some level that I affect him. Still, I could never confirm with him if it was something I'm him that he felt because whenever I'm  around him, my focus is on him, curious as why he hides his emotions and why I care so much.

Mother told me it was because I'm a sweet boy and everyone else agreed when I asked them. Still, I know this isn't my usual routine of interest. No, I know when I am not wanted and when you are just shy or playing hard to get. Val is different though. Always has been. Don't know whether it's good or bad, but at least his parents never stay long due to school, so I've had my whole life to guess the ridiculous secrets he could be hiding.

I've asked Eduardo, my best guy in the entirety of my life knowing him, but unlike most times where he usually jumps to my aid, the problem of Valerius' was never apparent to me when it came to Ed. He just worries for me and I love him for it.

With him in mind, I send my text to him, wishing him a wonderful day st work and he, as usual, gives his thanks and tells me when he will be picking me up. With a smile on my face, I press on full of energy.
