A/N: What I tell ya. It wasn't a bxbxb. It sets up for the next time, though. Yeah, it's not over for these three. Anyways, three more stories to go before we go to the swing act for these stories. Til then, here is the epilogue.
Eduardo's POV
1 year later.....
I'm walking down the corridor that looks out to the ballroom. It's not a long one, but it does give me enough time I think about what Val could've called me for with such urgency. Could it be something regarding Nathan? We haven't stopped looking the entire time we searched. The only clue we have was some dripping blood on the road. Unfortunately, it led to a dead end. Soon, it was gathered by another scent unfamiliar. Given the territory, we concluded that he was kidnapped and was being held against his will. So, we kept searching since we never found a body or anything to say that he bled to death and was consumed by scavengers.
Still, we could not find him within the territory which led us to conclude that he was outside it. Valet has been getting in touch with all the different packs to see if they had any run-ins with Rogues recently. One has had a run-in, which also took their Alpha. Yet, we couldn't get much given the person who spoke with us only knew second-hand details. Only the Alpha who replaced the previous knew of what happened. That was a problem because he as of now is a mess, only fully functional when he is doing pack business. The rest of the duties he hands to his Luna. We were about to head out to the pack when I got called to Val's office. So, here I am.
"Val, what's the urgent message about?"
"I got in touch with a city pack near the pack we just contacted. They have surveillance on the outer border of the city. Take a look."
My heart skipped a beat when I saw the walking group of wolfs, among them, helping them was Nathan. Our mate. We found him!
"We need to get over there ASAP!" I was about to start running, but Val grabs my arm. I was not in the mood. "Oh, for crying- are you coming or what?!"
"I want you to calm down and think about this clearly. Our mate has just been seen running with a Rogue Pack. We don't know his state or the state of the pack, so i need you to remember to approach this carefully."
I'm quite sure he wouldn't ever hurt us, but I comply nonetheless. Hang on, baby. We are coming.

3rd person POV of Nathanial's perception
"So, about that gift I promised you...." the idiot trails off as he thinks he entices the Alpha with his seduction. Though the Alpha thinks it could be a good idea to just look for a mate, Nathan has been the word of logic keeping him in check. He sees through the Gammas promises that include his devotion to the Alpha. Empty promises that are for a bid at power now that the Alpha struck down the previous Alpha, freeing the prisoners of their torment, Nathan included. Ever since, he has stuck with the Alpha at his side, bringing sense to the young man's perspective as the Alpha struggles to remember who he is.
Meanwhile, Nathan misses his own mate. He misses his best friend. Have they forgotten about him? He would go out to search for one of them, but he can't leave the pack just yet. They are on the brink of going to war with a neighboring pack. Some want them all wiped off and enslaving the others that survive. The pack is composed of Rogues and seeing himself as he only thing to bring them to civility, he stays and preaches peaceful solutions. Settle arguments. State the rules firmly, but when he can, kindly. Unfortunately, he has had to fight off those seeking a mate since his Mark is starting to fade with the time that Nathan loses hope in anyone finding him. And shamefully, he is okay with it because he has lived without them for so long. Yet, it wasn't their fault that this happened and Nathan shouldn't feel this way.
"I think maybe we should just-"
"Come on my lovely Anderlove. I just want to make love to you like you deserve."
This is where he needs to intervene before the man falls for the charade of this bozo.
"Actually, traditionally, the Alpha tops anyone below his position."
"Hah, oh, Nate, you're just too cute. But you and I know this isn't a typical pack with formal traditions".
"And yet, you won't support Omegas entering the ranks or Gammas Who birth our future children? By the way Anders, I need you to come with me to look at this pull what we brought in for the packs survival."
Luckily, the Alpha agree's, choosing to come with him tomorrow to save him....however way necessary.......
