as soon as jisoo heard the knocking on her door, she immediately rolled off her bed, ran into the living room and jumped over the couch to reach the door.

she took deep breaths before opening the door, revealing the boy she's been texting a lot recently.

taehyung.

he flashed jisoo his signature boxy smile and nodded hello.

jisoo greeted him back. "come in," she welcomed. tae stepped inside the apartment and looked around.

jisoo lead him into the living room, where they both relaxed on the couch.

"so what was the reason you wanted to come?" jisoo asked him.

tae smiled cheekily, "oh, nothing important, just wanted to see you."

jisoo immediately covered her cheeks, which were turning to a shade of red.

taehyung giggled at her cuteness before wandering into the kitchen.

"do you have ramyeon or something?" he asked innocently. "i didn't eat lunch yet."

jisoo composed herself and nodded. she entered the kitchen and grabbed a pack of ramyeon.

she started to cook silently as taehyung sat at the table. the silence was killing him.

"hmm, where's your other roommate?" he asked.

"ah, chaeyoung? she's at her friends place," jisoo answered. she too was dying of the awkward silence.

she glanced back at taehyung, and he was staring back her. immediately she turned around, he's too handsome.

soon jisoo was finished, as she placed the bowls onto the kitchen counter.

"thanks," tae said before slurping up the noodles.

jisoo did the same, until taehyung broke the silence.

"oh, i have a cool hyung who can make this ramyeon taste 5-star," taehyung said, sounding like a proud son talking about his dad.

"haha, sorry im not the best at cooking anything," jisoo said embarrassed.

"nah, it's fine. i cant cook shit either," he replied, trying to make jisoo feel less uncomfortable.

it worked. she laughed cutely. "so what is his name?"

"jin," he answered slurping up his noodles. "he owns this restaurant called world wi-"

"kim seokjin?"

taehyung looked up at the girl. "y-yeah, you know him too?"

jisoo's face was blank. "he's my ex."

her statement shocked taehyung. "ex? he never told us about you!"

"really?" jisoo shifted uncomfortably. "that's unfortunate."

jisoo was lost in thought. her crush's friend is her ex.

"how close are you guys?" she asked timidly.

"we've known each other for 5 years. i still cant believe he never told us about you," he answered leaning back into the chair.

"guess i was never that important," she muttered softly.

"umm," taehyung was thinking, choosing his next words carefully.

"you still like jin hyung?"

she shook her head. "not at all, it's just i never found out the reason he broke up with me."

"ah, ok."

"why?" she asked taehyung.

"because i like you," he replied simply.

"anyways, i'll be leaving now," he said hastily. "thanks for the food, i'll definitely come back here but for now, im gonna speak with jin hyung."

jisoo had no words, and could only nod.

"bye," taehyung once again flashed his boxy smile before leaving her apartment.
