jimin

my eyes shot open after hearing my phone ringing. i didn't bother to check it and decided to let it ring out.

i snuggled comfortably in my blanket for a few minutes before my phone rang again.

i rubbed my eyes before checking my phone. i sighed, it was mina.

"what?" i said as soon i picked it up.

"chim, can you do me a favor?"

i groaned upon hearing her use my nickname. "how many times do i have to te-"

"okay, okay," she interrupted. "im in a rush, so can you just answer me?"

"fine," i muttered. "what do you need?"

"could you drop off minji at chaeyoung's apartment? i woke up late and i might miss my flight."

i groaned, "sure."

"thanks. hurry up because my flights at 10."

i hung up before rolling out of my bed. i looked in the mirror, i wore an oversized shirt and sweatpants. i didn't think much of it before grabbing my car keys and walking out my apartment.

soon i rolled up to mina's house to see them waiting at the porch. mina noticed me and rushed minji to my car.

she opened the door for minji to come in and tucked in her seat belt. "hi daddy!"

i glanced to my rear view mirror to see minji waving at me, a happy smile on her face. i gave her a nod and smiled before turning around to face them.

i looked at mina. "so who's dropping you off to the airport?"

"im waiting for my uber," she answered, giving minji a peck on check. "alright, baby. mommy is leaving now."

before she closed the door, i called out to her. "wait!"

she pulled the door back open, "hmm?"

i glanced at the time on my watch. "it's 9:22. you might be late, especially with all the traffic. i could drop you off."

she nodded her head and gave me a warm smile. "thanks."

she got into the passenger side as i went to grab her luggage. after i lifted it into the trunk, i entered my car and drove off.

soon, we arrived at the airport. luckily, it was only 9:44, enough time for mina to reach her flight in time.

"thanks jimin," she said, cupping my hands and squeezing it. i tensed up and froze. i glared at her, then down to our hands wrapped together.

she noticed and gasped. "o-oh, i'm s-sorry."

she bowed slightly before rushing out the car, her face filled with embarrassment.

i laughed slightly, before watching her walk off with her luggage after waving to minji.

'why couldn't we last? she was perfect, she still is.'
