"im sorry."

jimin glanced at chaeyoung, waiting for her answer. she didn't as she closed her eyes.

jimin sighed in frustration, not knowing why she was giving him the silent treatment.

he looked at the rear view mirror to check on minji. she was sleeping peacefully, drool running down her mouth.

jimin and chaeyoung has just picked her up from the camp. for the first few minutes she babbled on how fun it was, then she suddenly fell asleep.

"can i stay over at your apartment?"

chaeyoung opened
her eyes, with a confused face. "why?"

jimin internally smiled, relieved that she answered him.

"just cause. besides, i wanna have bonding time with her."

"well you should've done that last week," chaeyoung retorted, earning a sharp glare from jimin.

"im trying to make it up to her," he replied calmly. "please?"

chaeyoung rubbed her temples and slowly exhaled. she groaned softly, catching jimin's attention.

"hey, are you okay?" jimin asked in a worried tone.

chaeyoung slowly shook her head. "n-not really. my head hurts... real...ly... bad."

jimin gasped as she slumped down seemingly unconscious.

"shit," he cursed quietly, pressing on the pedal. luckily they were close to her apartment.

jimin groaned in frustration as he realized there was a line of cars in front the gate.

he reached over to check on chaeyoung, pulling her up from her seat and checking her vital signs.

she was alright, but her forehead was very hot.

he tapped on his wheel repeatedly, wanting to take her home asap,

jimin had a feeling that it was sort of his fault. maybe he put too much stress onto chaeyoung, and overworked her.

finally it was his turn. he typed in the code, opening the gate.

pulling up to a parking spot, he got out the car and went to chaeyoung's side.

minji woken up on her own, as she unbuckled her seatbelt and got out the car.

jimin pulled chaeyoung and carried her bridal style into her apartment, while minji trailed behind them confused.

jisoo immediately leaped off her couch after seeing chaeyoung. "what happened?"

jimin laid her down on the couch gently. "i don't know. i think she's sick."

jisoo examined her for a few minutes before looking towards jimin. "can you make some ramyeon? there's some in the top left cabinet beside the microwave."

jimin nodded as he quickly went towards the kitchen. minji looked at jisoo, then jimin, before deciding to follow her dad.

"daddy, what's wrong with unnie?" she asked worriedly, tugging his shirt.

"she's sick," he replied, turning on the stove.

"why?" she asked innocently, her voice squeaking.

he poured the water in the bowl and placed it on the stove. he sighed slowly as he rested against the counter.

"probably because of me," he muttered, not intending for minji to hear.

"you? you made unnie sick?"

"y-yeah... i guess it was my fault," jimin admitted.

"minji... how about you stay with me for a few days. unnie needs to rest anyways."

she tapped her chin, "ummm..."

"wait here," she said suddenly, running back towards the living room.

meanwhile jimin stirred up the noodles, almost done. he searched for a bowl in the cabinets and found one, setting it on the counter.

he carefully poured it into a bowl and brought it to the living room.

"here," he said to a newly awoken chae, placing it onto the table.

"thanks," she replied hoarsely. jisoo took the bowl and started to feed chae.

while jisoo fed her, she glared at jimin, who sat in the armchair next to the couch. minji was occupied watching tv.

"you know this is your fault, right?"

jimin looked down ashamed. "i know. i was thinking that i could take care of minji, while she can get some rest."

chaeyoung laughed dryly along with jisoo. "finally you start thinking that way," she joked.

jimin forced a laugh. "but seriously, i'll take care of her. promise."

chaeyoung shared a glanced with jisoo, then looked over to minji.

"i'll go pack up some clothes then," jisoo spoke up, getting up from the couch and going in the room.

chaeyoung slurped up the soup, eyeing jimin. he shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

"you better take care of her," she warned.

"don't worry. i will."
