Hatred Virus: A Different Ending

Jack's POV:
This has been a crazy couple of days, I haven't spoken to RoPo in the past week since the got a cast for his neck. I'm still wondering how it happened. I'll ask him later, for now I was with Alex. He was in the training room, he looked mad. I mean, when does he NOT look mad.

"Alex, you're worried about AJ, right?"

"Well, seeing her in surgery is bad enough. Now after the removal of the bullet, she's now in a coma. Who knows when she'll wake up." Alex was fighting one of Black Widow's training simulators. He was pretty good at it, he destroyed those bots!

"Aren't you going to visit?"

"In a minute, I'm waiting for Ashlyn to come with. She too is just as worried."

"Right, you know how RoPo broke his neck and stuff?"

"Yes, why do ask?"

"Well, I know something happened to him because there's no other way for his neck to just break like that even after his recovery! (Gasped) I'm just curious to what really happened. Cap was there too apparently but he didn't mention anything."

"Strange? We'll look more in-depth into this, alright?" I gave a thumbs up, not long after, Ash walked in with some ice cream.

"Yo!"

"Yeah, I thought it might cheer us up." Ash was so nice, I don't think I've seen her mad before. Anyway, with her here, we all went to check AJ's condition. She had been out of the surgery room after a few hours, she was now in recovery. The gist is that, she slipped into a coma. Angel had slow breathing so the doctors had to hook her up to an oxygen mask and tanker. When we walked in, she was there, sleeping. We all felt worried, I'm still wondering how it all happened.

"It's disappointing seeing her in this state. I don't recall any other memories of this happening."

"Same, Alex. It's never come to this."

"Was she always so... um... like an introvert?"

"Kinda, she never spoke much on how she felt ever since our mom died. Angel was never so suicidal, never much for self sacrifice. Now, after what happened a year ago, she is so selfless. A-and that's not a bad thing in contrast to her mentally."

"Man, your lives were, something." After we chatted for a bit, a nurse came in.

"Alright, alright, you must let her rest properly. You may visit her tomorrow, it may help with her recovery." We all left it to the professionals.

Cap's POV:
"Is this really necessary, Stark?"

"Yes, we all want to know more of your power."

"It's uncomfortable! I don't like it."

"Yeah, get used to it. You'll be here a while." Stark was hooking up RoPo to the same machine used on Angel a few year prior. He did tell me he adjusted it to determine RoPo's new power. When he was finally done, Alex, Ashlyn, and Jack walked in.

"Yo, what's going on?"

"Well Jack, Stark is trying to find any info about my... OW! Careful! My new power."

"New power?!?" Said all three in unison.

"Yeah, now be quiet. It's time to see where it came from." Stark's computer came on with a lot of data and code. Eventually he came to a breakthrough.

"Got it! What?"

"What is it, Stark?" I said worried.

"Well, do you want the good news or the bad news?"

"Good news."

"Well, good news is that I know where RoPo's new power came from. Bad news is that, I was from Antivort." We all stood frozen.

"What? Why did I get my power from that crazy bastard!? She's insane, evil and did I mention crazy!"

"Yeah, I don't think I want to know more."

"RoPo has a point, Stark. Why would Antivort give RoPo an ability like that?" Asked Alex, yet it doesn't make any sense. If I know, Antivort doesn't want anyone to know who she is.

"Cap, I heard that and I agree... oh crap."

"Woah! This is amazing though! My best friend has a new power that can read minds!"

"Yeah, now I can tell if you're lying."

"Frick!" RoPo laughed to myself. His power can come into use.

"Now, what are we going to do now? I mean, Angel's in recovery. Someone managed to break into the tower."

"Not to mention the crazy .EXE crisis. That is a problem big enough. Oh, and the crazy girl calling me 'dad'. Those are problems." There were many conflicts and we needed to solve all of them. After a while, the alarm went off. Stark called on to J.A.R.V.I.S. to give us the report.

"J.A.R.V.I.S? What's going on?"

"Sir, it appears there is an attack downtown. My scanners identify: .EXE activity."

"Oh crap, well, we need to get there pronto. We're going to need everyone's help here."

"You got us all, Stark," I said as I put my shield on my back. Everyone had the face of confidence and determination. We all need to be strong, this virus could surprise us.

"I like that we are all getting hyped to kick .EXE ass, but someone get me off this thing!"

"Oops," said Stark.

"Haha, very funny. I know what you're thinking, generally." When RoPo was finally free, another person walked in.

"You all need to come quickly, it's the patient, A-Angel! She's stopped breathing!" A nurse had walked in and surprised us. Immediately we when to check on Angel's state, in deed, she has stopped breathing. Not only that, but the doctors were on the ground, covered in blood.

"Dr. Zendong!? Where's the doctor when you need it," said Stark in a panic, "Ace! What is this?!"

"I don't know, there was an attack in her room, the next, these things came and killed the doctors. I was lucky to escape."

"'Lucky?'" Said RoPo concerned, "I don't really believe in that."

"Why would I lie about something so serious? Why?"

"I see it, and I don't think your really Ace." Ace stood there in shock, we all did. Though, with RoPo's new power, he may be on to something.

"I'm not playing around, I not anyone else."

"Yeah, you aren't anyone. You're anything." Whatever happened to Ace's body was no more. Whoever was using her body was now transformed into one of Antivort's black creatures. That explains the amount of bodies everyone. The black creature began attacking, Ashlyn got Angel out of the room. Half of the remaining left to the city and fight the .EXE invasion. The ones who were left were Stark, Alex, RoPo and I.
