Alex's POV:
While the others fled to fight the invasion downtown, few of us were here trying to obliterate this creature. One doesn't know how strong it is until you fight it yourself. It's difficult because it regenerates from bits. To defeat this, we all have to collectively attack it at the same time, increasing our strength and frequency to finish it off. I knew from the moment I said that Stark wanted to find somewhere sturdy enough to hold such power. Luckily, the tower had the right place we need to hold such power: the training room. We all ran out the door hoping that the creature would follow behind, it did. It was close, one wrong move and we would have all been dead.

"This way!" Yelled Cap. We ran inside the training room, we waited for the creature to get inside. We needed to move quickly or else it could teleport away.

"It's here! Everyone on the count of three," I said as we all ready our attacks, "One..." The creature approach slowly, "Two..." It, too, was getting an attack on the ready, "Three!" All at once we unleashed our powers to this creature. It biased and roared all mighty, it tried escaping but knew well that there wasn't any turning back. After a while, there wasn't anything to attack, it had been vaporized.

"Man, if you told me how hard that thing was to kill before this, I wouldn't have believed you," said RoPo out of breath. We all were.

"I understand that as much as you, I didn't believe it either until I faced it off myself."

"You!? Ha, you are the most logical and persuasive person and your telling me you didn't believe it? Wow, can't argue with that," said RoPo with a smile. It's been a while since he did that.

"What do we do now? The .EXEs could be still in the city."

"Don't worry Cap, it's al taken care of," said Jack as he walked in with the others.

"Wait, RoPo come here fora minute," I said as he walked over, "Check if they are who they say they are." RoPo did look within their mind, with a calm expression he said,

"Clear."

"It was weird and crazy out there though, those .EXEs were not only weak but stupid too."

"Hehe, Hawkeye, like someone we know," said Jack.

"Alright, shut up you morons!" I'll be honest here, when RoPo punch both Hawkeye and Jack, I did laugh to myself.

Ashlyn's POV:
"Stay with me, Angel! You won't die as much as you want to. Not on my hands." I was giving Angel CPR after hooking here up to the oxygen tank. I wasn't letting her have her way again. I did once before and almost lost here. Eventually I felt her heart beating again, I was relieved. I know for a fact that she should be waking up soon, but it's almost as if she doesn't want to wake up. I wasn't happy with that, I heard the door open after a minute. No one walked in. Then...

"Is she still in a coma? Hehe, she really wants do die, don't you think?" I knew from her voice who it was, I knew it all too well.

"Antivort, what do you want? Make out lives more miserable as it is? Haven't you done enough already?"

"Well, I was only curious on how well she's doing is all. Though majority of your questions do only have one answer. We both know what that is," she said with her crooked smile and hollow eyes.

"Leave!"

"Where to?"

"Don't play dumb! You know we aren't falling for that!"

"Yes, yes I understand that you and your siblings don't fall for my tricks. Though honestly, do your friends know?" She disappeared after she said that. I retain my frown for a while. Eventually the others came into the already open door. Half of them looked tired the other, well, might had have it easy on the battlefield.

"How's Angel?" Asked Alex.

"Better, she's stable again. How was your fights?"

"Well, for one the .EXE were no match. Though I can't say the same for that little black blob," said Jack.

"Oh, that's understandable." There wasn't much we could do now that the fights have passed. The only thing we can do is solve the other problems we all have. I first started talking about how Antivort came to visit at a very suspicious time. Cap and RoPo had a worried face on them. I knew they were hiding something, I know what their hiding but they will mention it if they want. I'm not looking for nothing more.

"This is bad, I need to upgrade the security of this place."

"I'll go with you, Stark," said Alex. Both walked out afterwards.

"What are we going to do? We have so many problems and we can't solve them in one go," said Jack worrisome.

"We need to take it all one step at time. Stark and Alex have the security issue-"

"Let's worry on who is this mysterious person who calls me "dad". It's creeping me out the more I think about it."

"Alright, lets go." Part of us went to solve this mystery. The others stayed to insure that Angel is stable.

"Ashlyn?"

"Yeah, Cap?"

"Alex mention that he didn't believe in how strong that blob was, why?"

"Oh, that. Well, he wasn't very open-minded before. Always to himself, no matter what we said, he didn't believe it. When I told him about the blob attacking and how stupidly strong it was, he just didn't listen. When he did, it was nearly too late."

"Wow, I thought my past was bad enough."

"I don't think you remember anything from your childhood, RoPo."

"Oh, I meant when I fell into that nuclear waste."

"You fell into nuclear waste?!"

"Didn't I tell you this before?"

"No and you will tell me everything."

"Everything?" Said Both RoPo and Cap.

"Yes, everything."
