RoPo's POV:
I walked over to the patio thinking about what just went down.

Why would Angel and Antivort have a conversation? Let alone in the new Avengers HQ? This is strange but Angel did come out of the conversation looking worried. Not only did I want to help AJ, but I wanted to apologize to her. I arrived and saw her looking up, well trying anyway. That neck cast ain't letting her do much. I think Angel heard me come, I could tell because she shook a little.

"What brings you here, RoPo?"

"I wanted to see if you were ok, I may have snitched on what happened back there."

"That was predictable, you are always curious. Anyway, I'm not ok, I wouldn't lie about that. I actually waited for you to come. I... I want to tell you the truth."

"Ok? What truth?"

"I'm sure you remember when I said those things to you a few weeks ago. I wasn't really who said that, I was... corrupted."

"What?! Is that why you looked at me weird and told me not to look through your mind?"

"I guess, you can read minds?" I guess if she really was corrupted, AJ won't know that I had these powers. She talked at me about what really went down, she explained how a black blob merged with her and acted in strange manners. I knew when I yelled at her that something wasn't right.

"I'm sorry too, for yelling earlier. I should have put the pieces together. But I don't get something. I saw your soul fade away, what was that?"

"It's an easy spell, but because of my weakened body, I couldn't hold it for very long. I just wanted to help you a bit." I saw something remarkable, something that I wouldn't see ever again. She smiled, she rarely smiles with joy. She eventually needed to go and have a doctor check on her neck. I walked back to the infirmary and noticed Jack coming by.

Jack's POV:
I saw RoPo walking from the other direction, I stopped and said hello. He said it back and I could tell he was in a good mood.

"What made you so cheerful now?" I asked.

"I'm actually relieved, I undid a wrongdoing and I feel great!"

"That's good to here, I'm doing just fine too."

"But, you where in the secret hallway, weren't you scared?"

"Not really, I saw Cap's soul and he told me to calm down since he will always be here." RoPo had a more relieved face, "Are you smiling?!"

"Uh, I guess so," RoPo had a bright smile on his face. I guess most of his fears have been conquered, "Jack?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I take a nap? I just need to rest for a few more hours. I didn't sleep much anyway."

"Yeah, go and take the nap you deserve!" RoPo went in the room, I walked back to the meeting room. Since the leaders of the Avengers are... dead, we need a plan of attack. Antivort is more strategic than before, I remember hearing from Alex that Antivort is going to try and kill any high levels of people in the government. President David ordered us Avengers to track down others for help and hopefully a way to end Antivort's rein.

(Hours later, Jack's POV)

During our meeting, a lot of Avengers where here. I was relieved to see so many heroes still standing.

"We need to act quickly," said Black Widow, "If that thing killed strong leaders, she will most likely go for more."

"And the ones remaining are world leaders and governments," said Alex. I excused myself to find files of every major leaders. I walked closely to the main power room and felt a shock. I was fine but the lights went out. I looked out the window and the entire cities lights were dead. It was a massive blackout. I sprinted to the power room and unbelief was staring at me in the face.

"What are you doing, RoPo?!" He turned around and looked dead. His eyes were soulless, but his expression said other words. He had a threatening expression, I was scared and slowly walked backwards to a near by wall. He then grabbed me from the corral of my shirt and threw me hard to the wall. I felt a crack, my back had broken. Glass was shattered on the floor and RoPo grabbed two large shards, his hands bleed.

"W-What are you going to do why that?! What is this?!" I tried t run but I couldn't get up, he appeared in front of me and... it hurt like hell... My eyes were in so much unbelievable pain, I couldn't see anything.

"RoPo?! What did you do?! I can't see!" He gave a mixed laugh; I could feel the ground shake. Running, the other Avengers must be coming.

"I couldn't let you fulfill your goal, now can I?" He said with his own voice mixed in with another.

"You won't get away with this! The other Av..."

"Don't say another word, you hear me?!" I gasped, this wasn't the RoPo I knew at all. I heard the door open, the other Avengers were here. I could feel it, but I couldn't feel the dark tension from what I felt when RoPo was here.

Angel's POV:
It was a sight, we got Jack to the infirmary as soon as Alex and Banner got the lights back on. The doctor looked at the damage done to his eyes, he turned to us. It wasn't good news, then the door to Jack's room slammed open.

"What happened?! I heard lighting and yelling from my room?" It was RoPo, the real one anyway.

"There was a blackout, we think it could have been Antivort," said Black Widow. He had a desperate look on his face. RoPo took a closer look on Jack. He had bandages wrapped around his eyes. Jack had a smirk, I knew this was bad news.

Jack, you moron.

"I swear Jack if you're lying about a serious injury..."

"W-What?" Said Jack in shock.

"Don't be an idiot!" Said RoPo in an angry tone.

"RoPo, Jack's permanently blind, the doctor confirmed that," said Ashlyn worried.

"He's being a complete jerk trying to get attention!"

"Ok, you need to calm down! This isn't a joke, he can't see," I said in a serious voice. I knew RoPo was angry, he clinched his fist and walked over to Jack. I knew what he was going to do. I tried to get there before him but he punched Jack in the face. We all gasped, he tried to do it again but Black Widow managed to pin down RoPo. He yelled and roar like a madman. He struggled to break free, it won't be long. Ashlyn quickly managed to grab a strain jacket and put it on RoPo. He scratched himself on his cheek. He needed to be put in restrain. It won't be long, I knew this was going to happen. It did before, I knew he would finally snap, I just didn't know when.

"Let me go! Let me go, you f*cking morons! I swear to hell you will not see day light again! Let me..." a tranquilizer was injected in him to be knocked out. How... nostalgic....
