Jack's POV:
When the other Avengers landed downtown, I was walking to the control center in the HQ. I had prosthetics on my legs to help me walk. I was going to manage the status of everyone's minds, even the ones who where still in the tower. I finally arrive at the control center and I see S.H.I.E.L.D agents walking all over the control center. Many agents were monitoring maps, the enemy and battle tactics. I was standing next to the big screen and I saw what looked like outside.

"Holy mother of hell! She really decided to bring total chaos there!" I yelled out.

"It's what it is, Jack. Now get to your station! This is going to be a hard battle," said Fury as he walked over with his pistol.

Ashlyn's POV:
It was easy to see her up close, so much so that we could tell she really wasn't expecting us. Based on her dialogue, she really didn't know what to think. She turned to us and her face had a frown on; she looked pissed. Antivort looked at us with a nasty look, not giving a single smile.

"Why do you attack now?!" Shouted Angel as she walked closer.

"I really wasn't, just creating the scenery. I'm not prepare to fight at the moment," said Antivort with annoyance, "Come closer and see what can happen." Angel didn't go for the bait, she back away. RoPo walked closer to Angel, then Antivort gave a small smirk, "Why don't you see who you can trust?" After her words, Magic was shot out and we all turned and covered ourselves. It didn't really last long, after it all happened we all got back up.

"You are all ok," I asked as I walked around to everyone.

"I think we are all good," said Harlow as she took her breath.

"Not everyone is themselves anyone..." What she said was strange for a minute but then the next we all noticed something unusual. Four glowing lights were next to her but it has hard to see because of the mist around by the magic. We all stationed ourselves in fighting mode. When the mist cleared, our sanity was dropped.

"Holy sh*t, please tell me that both of them are next to us safe and sound," I said with a panic. An energy beam came from the left side of where Antivort was standing and hit Dawn. Hissing was heard. Two of our friends were no siding with the enemy. And holy hell, these two seemed to be chosen by their past.

Narrator's POV:
A clashed had begun with the side of good and evil. With one of them injured by the energy beam, the other Avengers had to face on these powerful creatures on their own. Facing off with these corrupted souls. Arrows, lighting, and fire were everywhere in sight. Gunshots and strong wind was heard from around. Black Widow has gone to see if Dawn was alright. Dawn wasn't in the best condition and needed medical attention immediately. An issued occurred when the darkness came in front to block the Avenge-Jet. Nothing was said from the darkness, rather a large smile appeared. The darkness pushed back Black Widow and pinned her with transparent shards. The darkness grabbed Dawn with her telekinetic powers and threw her towards multiple shards. Dawn reacted in time and teleported herself from the shards.

"Why are you doing this?! I don't want to fight you," she said as she cried.

"Because we do..." said the virus from behind. His sharp blooded teeth were shown, he grabbed Dawn by the arm and compressed pressure on it, "Too bad you don't have any real blood. I would like to taste it so badly," said the virus with a large grin. The darkness teleported to Dawn and the virus and created a spell in her left hand. No words came from her mouth. Dawn looked into the darkness and virus' eyes, hollow. Black and empty like the ones from Antivort. The other Avengers came by quickly and attacked the darkness and virus. Ashlyn let out a large fireball, Hawkeye shot his adamantium arrows into the flames. Harlow gave a lighting attack throw and Thor created a storm within. With these collaborations of powers, the attack carried out to the darkness and virus. Though with injures, Black Widow ran full speed to push Dawn away from the blast. In time, Natasha managed to save Dawn and the blast hit the two enemies. An explosion was heard.

"I think it's over," said Hawkeye as he put away his bow. Then, he looked down to his chest, a blade was sticking out of his chest revealing his heart. The blade was released and Clint fell limb to the ground. Everyone was shocked, looking up they saw the darkness without a scratch. She had a hollow smile; her expression was enough to say that she wanted more pain.

"What did you do?!" Yelled Natasha with anger. The darkness remained silent, she slowly walked to Natasha with her axe in hand. Blood dripped down the end and immediately Alex intervened and saved Natasha from dying.

"Alex!!!!?" Yelled Ashlyn with tears in her eyes, Alex too fell death. Though being clouded with painful memories, the darkness looked at her actions and felt remorse. The virus came in and attack the other remaining Avengers. His hands were black claws in which he used to struck everyone. His smile never changed, he still seek blood. When his fingers were cover in it, he licked them. He grabbed the darkness' axe and ran towards Thor. Thor blocked the axe with his hammer but it resulted into his hammer being destroyed with that single blow.

"Odin's bears!" He yelled, and it was the last thing he ever said. The virus felt an injury on his cheek. It came from the darkness who was now in control of herself.

"Idiot, letting her take over you, making you kill someone," she said as the virus landed on the ground, "Wake the hell up if you care that I killed my own brother!!" The darkness gave the virus another hit in with he dropped the axe. She grabbed it and teleported to Antivort, "This is for my f*cking family, b*tch!!!" With one slice, the darkness cropped of Antivort's head off. Her remaining body fell down while her head turned to dust. A look of insanity was in the darkness. The virus roared mighty and twisted and turned as he tried not to break free from the corruption. To his demise, he was free and returns to normal, though his hands were covered blood. He had a hesitated look and began to hyperventilate. Though shaken by what she experienced, Dawn walked over to the fallen virus.

"It's ok, I know you didn't want to do anything. It's hard, I'm here at least. I will never leave your side...

... I promise..."
