Chapter 3

Tanner's P~O~V

Two weeks left before the annual Hollow's Dance Fest. and me and the rest of the guys (mostly guys from my pack and some exceptional humans that lived in Lune Sentry) were as usual sitting in our sect. (section) of the school debating on which girl (slut/whore) we'd like to take to it.

It was a normal day us on our sect. and the OTHERS on theirs.

Chris, Walter, Sage and Caleb had already chosen the girls (or as I stated before; sluts/whores) that they were going to take to the Hollow's Dance Fest.

And now they had moved on to choosing the places they were gonna take those girls to after the Hollow's Dance Fest.

Usually I would've been in there choosing a slut to go to the dance with me and then claiming the location take her to for..........well I'd say it out loud with no shame but just for those that might not want to know the details I'd leave it up to your imaginations.

But today I felt doing something different out of the ordinary even, so I decided to hang out with the mated guys in our group.

But then decided against it, I mean I don't really care anything of PDA and have done it with random you know who's myself, though the thing that really gets me is when they actually start talking; "Kelly did this" and "your kidding me Sandy did that" or even "I'm in love with how Genna does this" and so on and so on................

I mean seriously I get it you're madly in love with your mates! But stop acting like such love sick little puppies (no offense to the puppies) Would Ya?!?!

They almost seem like prissy little school girls! (Again no offense to school girls/or prissy little school girls)

So then I decided to talk with random guys in OUR IT crowd, but decided against it as well when I saw Nina (my younger sister by a year) taking that oppurtunity to get closer to Lyle my bff and soon to be beta of the Lune Pack.

So instead I just decided to go back to the guys (Chris, Walter, Sage, Caleb and LYLE) so Nina my dear naive sister would go back to her little group of friends (or sluts) and stay away from guys like myself. (I might be a player but I will not stand quitely on the corner and watch someone break my sisters heart! Specially when that SOMEONE happens to be close friend amd soon to be second in command.)

"Hey" everyone chorused when with a respectful nod when I approach my group of friends.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked curious as to what they were doing seeing as the topic had changed from dates to something else, since now the group was surrounded by all of Nina's 'friends' and some other girls from our IT crowd.

"Nothing much just playing a truth or dare game" replied Nina anxious to start the game (probably some ploy to ask Lyle out)

"You in?" asked Lyle his eyes pleading for me to join in and somehow get Nina off his back.

"Sure" I replied watching as Nina's shoulder slumped a bit and she stepped back to let me stand beside my bff.

"So, Since everyone's here, I'll go first!" exclaimed Caleb with a mischevious grin on his face, while everyone else groaned since anyone who's basically everyone knows that, that grin of his is a sign that he has something horrid plannned for who so ever picks dare.

We spun the can (since we had no bottle) and it landed on me.

"So" Caleb started making me groan inwardly, "Truth or Dare?" he asked knowing full well what i'd say.

"Dare" I replied with a scowl, since I am so not revealing to anyone about myself! Never have! Never Will!

He smiled with an evil glint on his face, which I was to tempted rip off of his face, "You have to kiss the first girl that steps on the welcome mat in front of the school" and he stopped for dramatic effect while pointing at the welcome mat.

Then continued, "And then date her for 2 whole months withouth cheating on her" he completed with satisfaction and a tinge of worry for his safety, while I glared at him and tried to suppres a growl. (So as not to frighten the humans)

I mean is he kidding me!

Not to mention ALL the girls (other than my sister of course) on our turf was getting ready to pounce on the mat, but before any human or even any in-human could react or move a familiar old car came trudged on to the school pavement.

The first thought that came to mind was that our esteemed elder Sprinkley had found out about the 'little quarell" (or full out battle) we had with the Burn (or Bum) Pack last Friday and was here to tell (yell at) us her thoughts about what she thinks of our 'imaturity'. (as she claims)

While everyone on our side was tensed and everyone on all the OTHER sides had grim smiles on, but what really got my attention was a sweet jasmin scent with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon and a strong force pratically dragging me towards the old truck.

But since that would be inapropriate and a disgrace since elder Sprinkley had not motioned for me to approach I remained my ground and waited.

And stuck to using my enhanced vision and seeing what the deal was and why I was suddenly so strongly attracted to that old peice of junk. (The car! Not the elder! I MEAN- YOU KNOW WHAT? I DON'T CARE!)

As I watched there was another passenger in the car and to an even bigger suprise our strict and viscious elder was actually SMILING!

She who never even cracked a glimmer of a happy grin or showed any emotional at all!

Was smiling at what looked like a girl and even showing full out concern for her!

Then I looked at the girl and all my breath was knocked out of me by the full force of her beauty and my wolf growling inside me to know what wrong.

While at the same time screaming the words, "MATE" over and over again in my head...............wait MATE?!

I FOUND MY MATE?!!?!

So that's why I felt so different today?!

But man is my smokin' HOT!

My wolf growled at me for using such term for my mate and I stopped internally pissing my wolf out and focussed on what my beautiful mate was doing.

While the rest of the school was gawking at my mate with a mixture of emotions and my wolf wanted rip all their eyes out of their eye sockets.

My eyes followed mate with a feirce determination as I realized my mate was heading towards the welcome matt. (Well technically towards the school entrance, but she'd have to cross the welcome matt for it)

I watched holding back my breath without even noticing it and as her right foot stepped on the matt I released my breath and littrally raced towards my mate at an in-human speed, forgeting the meaningless humans. (no offence)

I reached towards her as she had her back to me and my wolf with his impatience tensed all my muscles and I forcefully grabbed hold of her shoulders, pulled her towards my aching body and...............................................
