Chapter 12
Skye's P~O~V
As soon as I heard the first growl, I quickly yanked my head back making my neck make a cracking sound, but it soon healed.
And I looked up to find that Xavier wasn't there anymore, but pinned to the ground by my angry mate.
I mentally cursed myself and my panther because although most of my instincts are more like a wolf than a panther, but one traight which I just realized I have that belongs to a Panther is that unlike wolves Panthers mate with whom ever they please EVEN after they find their mates.
That's one reason why our family split apart a bit earlier than most were-panther families.
Because although my parents are true mates, but they can date and even have children with any Panther, human or basically anyone or thing they want.
And the reason they seperated (they did not get a divorce, just went to a different part of the world from each other) was because panther are active and can't take one thing for a long time.
Thus the reason why my Panther did not object to Xavier was one because Xavier was my boyfriend and my Panther liked him and two because that's just what we are.
But then again my mate's my everything and if there was ever a situation where I could only save one person and was not aloud to sacrifice myself, then I'd choose my mate over Xavier any day.
As I snapped out of my thoughts and started cursing my Panther and self yet again for being such a slut: I noticed that my mate was choking a very shocked Xavier while all the students were in panic mode.
I quickly ran up to where my mate was on top of a frozen Xavier and put my hand on my mates tense shoulder and tried mentally speaking to him without giving it another thought.
//Please stop!\\ I yelled begging him to listen and luckily for me he did or I don't know what I would've done or could've happen once everyone was out of their shocked fazes.
My mate stopped but still would not loosen his grip even after I tried to pry him off of Xavier with my own and real strength.
//Please let go, you'll kill him!\\ I explained tears sprouting to my eyes as I got scared for Xaviers life and the trouble I'd caused.
//That's because I want this bastard to die, so he would never touch what's mine!!\\ my mate mentally screamed at me with commanding voice.
