Chapter 18

Alexus' POV

When I woke up I felt refreshed. Maybe I just needed to let go of some tears... I looked around the room and saw Tatyana and Monta sound asleep. I walked to a nearby window and looked at my face. I felt hideous. I went to use the restroom and got into the shower. I sat there for a minute letting the water run on my head. I thought about the struggle I was to get ready for. "God, what do I do?" I said at a whisper. I got up and washed myself.

I got out and looked to see if Tatyana and Monta were still sleep and they were. I grabbed Tatyana's makeup bag and did my face. The swelling had went down just enough for me to cover it up. I did all that and put on some eyelashes and gold under eye liner. My face was back to normal. I smiled at the sight. I flat ironed my hair and put on some regular clothes. I was ready to be back in my own house. I put on some red Vans, black jeans, and a red T-shirt. I grabbed my phone and went to sit down.

Tatyana woke up about ten minutes later. "Who the fuck... Alexus?" I looked at her and smiled. "Girl.... You look beautiful. You been in my makeup?" I giggled and shook my head. "Has the doctor been in here?" she said yawning. I shook my head no and looked through my Facebook. Then I got a call from Zadarius.

Conversation:

Alexus: Hello?

Zadarius: Let's meet up tonight.

Alexus: If I get out the hospital in time then alright.

Zadarius: What happened?

Alexus: I'm fine Zadarius... But look let me hit you back up in like twenty minutes.

Zadarius: Don't forget...

End Of Conversation.

I hung up the phone and acted as if Tatyana wasn't looking at me. "You know I'm looking at you... Why he calling you?" she said feisty. "Cus' I'm a whole pimp in these streets girl." Tatyana busted out laughing. "Girl you stupid... But how you feel?" I smiled just a little. "Better.." I said. Tatyana just looked at me. Soon as she was about to talk the doctor came in. "Well look at you. You look beautiful Ms. Peters... But we are letting you go today. In about two hours you will be a free women again. (laughter) Here is your prescription for your vitamins and my number. Call me if you need anything or have any other questions." He said nodding his head. "Thanks doc." I said looking at him wit my big eyes. "But why she need your number?" Tatyana said looking curious. The doctor laughed and said,"Just in case she is in need of pain medication, baby stuff, or just anything... She must didnt tell you that I'm her ex." I put my head down as Tatyana snapped her neck my way. "Girl this is a doctor... Why y'all ain't still together?" The doctor start giggling and said,"Well I cheated on her back in the day so... She left me." "And when was this?" Tatyana said putting her hands on her hips. "After Dion and Kayla died..." I said softly. Everything went quite. "Well Alexus... Call me when you need me. I'll bring your release form in later on." I smiled and nodded. He walked out and I laid back down.

*2 hours later*

"Ms. Peters.. Sorry to wake you but here are your release forms." said a tall Asian nurse. "Thank you.." I said. I looked around and Tatyana and Monta was gone. I sat up and looked at myself on my phone. My makeup hadn't even moved. I smiled and got up to leave and Dr. Gotu came in. "What's up Doct.." I was interrupted by a kiss. I was so shocked I just sat there... "I'm so sorry... I just needed to tell you that before you left. Call me." He said walking out the room smiling. I was stuck. Then my phone rang. Tatyana text me. 'U need me to come upstairs n get you?' I said no and start packing my bag.
