When we made it to the police station my hands began to sweat. "You can do this baby girl..." Tatyana said grabbing my hands. I slightly smiled and walked in.

"How can I help you ma'am?" a nice short black lady said. "I'm looking for Detective Jones... My name is Alexus Peters." I said as she typed on the computer. "Let me call him to the front... There he is." she said as he walked down the hall. The slim brown skinned man walked up and stretched his hand forth. "How you doing Ms. Peters? I'm Detective Jones... Right this way." He said still walking. He walked so fast I couldn't catch his questions. "Okay wait.. You going a little too fast.." I said slowing down. "Forgive me. I'm kind of on a mission." he said stopping. "Now what was that question?" "You said this man was tall, light skinned, and had a tattoo of a bird on his neck correct?" I nodded and he opened a door. "There is going to be ten men that fit the description. You are going to have to choose who did this to you. Note that they can't see you so don't be nervous and I will be talking to them. You will only be talking to me." I took a deep breath and nodded. "Ma'am can you wait out here?" "Wait no... Tatyana has to come with me.." He held the door open for her. After she came in he walked up to the little microphone and said,"Bring them in..." I closed my eyes tight. "Help me Lord." I said to myself. "Ms. Peters.. " I opened my eyes and there he stood. "Number 5... That's him. That's him... Can I go now?" I said walking backwards. "Calm down Ms. Peters... Are you sure that's him?" I nodded and started to cry. Tatyana grabbed me and covered my face. "Okay... Take number 5." I looked up and he was cursing and screaming. I ran out the door and to the room so he could see my face. I just looked at him.. "Bitch when I get out your mine..." he said as they carried him out. I sat there and cried.
