The wind blows strongly along the harbor. Silence filled the entire cargo area. Rouji and the magus stood on the harbor grounds.

"If I kill you right now, It'd be really boring around here. I'd like to have fun with you first."

The man slowly floats up in the air and summons a violet colored creature. It had four yellow eyes and four claw like legs with a relatively small body. Its skin was shiny enough to be distinguished as somewhat like metal.

"I want to see your sword skills. Show me boy."

"I'm not your plaything you bastard." Rouji replies.

He orders the creepling to charge toward him and it dashes to Rouji.

Shit. Here it comes.

Rouji prepares himself as the creepling ran toward him. It jumped from a distance and was about to pounce on him. But just in time, he slashes the creepling in half and it fell dead on the cement floor.

"Hah. Is that all you got old man?" Rouji smirks.

The man smiled at him and with the flick of a finger, the creepling regrew half of its body. Now, Rouji was confronted with two of them.

"What the... Hey, this is cheating." he points his sword toward him.

"Oh I'm sorry, are there any rules in killing a human like you? Hahaha!" he laughs.

"Fucking hell.."

Rouji charges toward the creeplings and slashes them one by one. By the time he killed them, there were already four of them.

How the fuck am I supposed to defeat these?!

Rouji stood there confused as he looked at the creeplings.

"Are you giving up? I thought you were smart?" he says.

"Hey, screw you!" he shouts at him.

"Hahahaha!" the mage laughs. "Kid, I find you hilarious. Really. Ehehehe."

"I'm not your fucking clown here. Come down here and fight me!" he yells.

"What? I can't just do that. Hmm. Consider this as a video game. Think that they're my minions and I'm the boss. You have to defeat them before battling me." he replies.

"What?! That's bullshit! You know what, if you just said so I would accompany you to Tahuma District!" Rouji says.

"Huh? Why?" the mage wonders.

"You can find lots of arcade stations there! If you just told me you're a big fan of video games I could take you there you know."

"Hmm.. good point. I probably shouldn't kill you today." the mage replies.

Huh? Is he really buying it?

"I always wanted to play one of those video games. You know that game called Immortal's Fight?" the mage asks.

"Huh? Of course. I played that game a few weeks ago." Rouji replies.

"Really? I heard it was about picking a character and fighting to the death!" the mage scratches his head.

"Yeah! It's really cool man." he says.

Rouji had a feeling that they were vibing up with each other and they got a bit carried away with the conversation.

"Sigh.. too bad I'm too old for that crap. Anyway, back to business." he orders the creeplings to attack him.

Shit.. I knew he wouldn't buy it.. I mean who would be that much stupid right?
