I open my eyes to Justin's face and smile. His cheeks were a light pink and his mouth was slightly parted. Just two months ago I went on about how much I hated him and now we were sharing the same bed. It's not easy letting people into my life, especially after the accident. I was never the type to let my guard down which is why I never actually had any friends other than Ryan. But somehow Justin helped me let my guard down and now that I think about it, some people are worth letting your guard down. I'm still afraid though. I'm afraid that I'll slowly but surely get too attached to him and he'll just leave me hanging. I'm praying that he doesn't. I really hope he'll be there for me like he said he would.

I move closer to him and place my head on his chest. His steady heart beat filled my ear and I smiled.

Justin shifts a little and makes a small noise. A few seconds later his eyes open and he looks at me smiling. "Hey."

"Hey." I breath.

He puts his hands over his face and yawns. "I'm going to the bathroom."

I nod, sit up in bed, and run my fingers through my hair as he disappears from my room. I reluctantly get out of my cozy bed and swing my legs off the side letting my feet sink into the fluffy white rug. Making my way to the closet for an outfit I pull out a white long sleeve shirt, dark blue jeans, and a pair of Uggs. I walk out of my room just as Justin's coming in.

"I'm going to take a shower." I say.

He casually nods his head and continues walking into my room.

When I get in the bathroom I turn the shower on until it gets nice and hot. Taking off my clothes, I step into the hot water letting it relax every muscle in my body. I close my eyes and inhale deeply. Hot showers are the best. I could stand here all day without moving. I grab my Pantene shampoo that I so desperately missed due to the fact that I forgot to take it to school with me and had to buy some , and pour a small amount into my palm. As I massage it into my hair I smile at the familiar scent. I do this two more times before conditioning. When that's all done I reluctantly step out and grab a towel.

After another half hour my clothes are on, my hair is blown out, and I'm heading back into my room.

"Do girls seriously need an hour in the bathroom?" Justin looks up at me when I walk in. He's already dressed in a gray sweatshirt, jeans, and white sneakers. His hair wasn't gelled into a quiff today. He let it hang over his forehead making him look cuter than ever.

"Actually two. I just didn't put any makeup on." I say.

He shakes his hair out of his eyes. "You don't need that. You're beautiful without it."

For some reason my stomach did this flip flop thing and I found myself smiling. "Thanks."

"So what are we doing today?" he asks.

Today was the last day of break. I wanted to do something fun. Unfortunately we would be heading back to school tomorrow. I wish I could just stay here and never leave but, I can't. Chasing my dream is more important.

I shrug and sit down next to him on the bed. "Beats me."

"You can't think of one thing in this whole town to do?"

Falling back, I look up at the ceiling. "Nope."

We sit in silence for a minute in thought. I don't know what he was thinking but I was scanning the small part of town trying to think of at least one thing to do. Nothing. Justin turns to me with a smile on his face. "Let me take you out."
