We don't know
We don't know what's past our lives
We don't know what happens next
We don't know how she feels
We don't know if she'll pull that steering wheel
We don't know if she'll tumble down the cliff
We don't know if she smiled as her seatbelt unclipped
We don't know if he called her name as she fell
We don't know if she tried to tell him its fine
We don't know anything
But he knows
He knew she cried every night
He knew she refused to eat
He knew her parents fought while she slept
He knew from all the diaries she kept
That she felt sad everyday
He knew every night she prayed
We don't know anything, so we live in bliss
He knew everything, so he accepted death's kiss
-A poem regarding Katie and Mark
(Maybe a story soon?)
