Oliver had eaten more than Elio had cooked for him. It would have been concerning if it wasn't for the fact that his mother had stashed away Cannolis.

After such gruesome feast, the two were too tired to wait for Elio's parents to come back. Heading to bed, they decided they'd say hello in the morning.

"I don't want to sleep alone."

"You won't, Oli." Elio caressed his face as he had sat down on the bed, hugging one of the pillows yet again. "My parents know their boundaries, plus, they'd understand."

Oliver nodded and smiled as he laid back onto the bed, slipping his shoes off. "Bed~"

Elio chuckled as he took his shirt off and got in bed next to his boyfriend, who quickly let go of the pillow in exchange for the boy next to him.

He was quiet as he hugged Elio, which the younger wouldn't have minded had it been different circumstances. He was worried about Oliver's mental state.

"Oliver."

"Hmm?"

"Are you okay?"

Oliver pulled away from his boyfriend and cradled his face in his hands, looking over his every feature as he smiled. "With you, I'm better than ever."

Elio pointed his finger to his lips. "You haven't kissed me."

Oliver then gasped. "I haven't? Oh my god! What the hell?" He quickly leaned down and began peppering kisses on Elio's lips, who wouldn't stop smiling.

And when the peppering stopped, it was just one kiss.

A pained kiss because so much time apart had left the two drained out. Their lips always moved effortlessly and in sync, the taste of cigarettes that Oliver never thought he'd miss, and the taste of bitter coffee Elio definitely wouldn't trade for anything else.

At least for now, before they got tired of said flavor again, because cigarettes and coffee wasn't actually a great combination of flavors.

But why bother with flavors when you had feeling and passion in between?

The two pulled away from their kiss and just stared at each other until they fell asleep.
