It had been a good couple of days since the kiss and i know i should be getting back to my people but something about Cassius draws me in and makes me not want to leave.

He had taught me how to shoot a bow and arrow and i gotta say, i'm great at it thanks to him.

I feel like i owe it to him to stay, he saved my life and opened his home up to me.

But i know i can't stay, my people need me and i can't let them down but i don't think Cassius will let me leave till i'm fully healed and that will take awhile.

I have the opportunity to leave now i guess.

He had trusted me enough to take Malachi into the woods to get some wood for the fire and this would be a perfect opportunity to escape but i can't just leave a 6 year old kid out here alone, grounder or not.

It was early in the morning and the sun was just rising as we walk through the forest.

Not being able to talk to each other, we stay in a comfortable silence.

After awhile of walking, smoke fills the air and shouting comes from the distance.

We look back at the way we came to see a black smoke cloud right over the village.

"shit" i mutter as i take of running in the direction of the village with Malachi behind me.

We run for about 5 minutes before we get to the outskirts of the village.

By now the yelling has stopped and the fire has been put out.

I hesitate to go in the village but my mind is made up as Malachi rushes past me.

I follow after him as the whole place has become eerily silent.

"Malachi" i whisper as i realize i can't see him anymore.

Yells, followed by gunshots, echo through the village as i turn to the shots and start running towards them.

I get to a large open place and see Finn opening fire on a bunch of villages.

Movement in front of me brings my attention to the little boy standing 20 feet away from them, staring in horror at the scene.

Malachi seems to snap out of his shock as he throws his sticks on the ground and begins running towards me as i run to him.

"Malachi!" i scream as Finn harshly turns around and starts shooting at Malachi at the same time i reach him and shield him from harm.

The shooting stops as a searing pain radiates through my shoulder.

I look behind me to see Finn, Murphy, Clarke and Bellamy all standing there in shock.

A figure blocks my vision of them as Cassius rushes towards us.

"Papa!" Malachi calls as he moves from behind me and tackles his father in a hug.

I slowly get up from the ground and clutch my shoulder as i look down at it and see that it only grazed it slightly.

"thank you, for saving my sons life" Cassius breaths into my ear as he hugs me gently.

"its okay" i look over his shoulder and see the others looking at me in shock"i need to go back to my people, so i guess this is goodbye"

He nods his head and pulls me to him, gently kissing my cheek.

I smile softly at him before kneeling down in front of Malachi  "this is good bye, i'll see you again though, i promise"

I pull him into a hug as he whispers into my hair "goodbye queen Wren of the sky people"

Smiling at both of them before i slowly make my way over to Finn, Murphy, Clarke and Bellamy.

"hey guys" i wave awkwardly as they look like they've seen a ghost.

"wha-" "how is this possible"

"i thought you died" Bellamy whispers in disbelief as i look down at the ground.

"he saved me" i gesture over at Cassius as he and Malachi walk away.

"its good you're still alive and all but can we talk about this somewhere else?" Clarke asks impatiently.

"a bitch like always Clarke" i say to her as i walk into the forest with them close behind.

The walk back to camp was silent, i don't know if it was from the shock of me still being alive or from the shock of Finn murdering all those grounders.

In the distance, a large structure comes into view with a sign saying 'camp Jaha'

"is that the ark?" i break the silence as we draw near and guns point at us.

"part of it" Bellamy states as he walks a head.

"why is it called 'camp Jaha' why not 'camp Wren'" i ask us the guns slowly lower and we approach the gate.

"because apparently Jaha sacrificed himself to save all these people and you didn't exactly sacrifice yourself for anyone" Murphy bluntly tells me.

"what? so people are turning a blind eye to the fact he killed their family's and labeling him a hero because at the last second he had a change of heart and decided to saved them all" i scoff as we enter the camp and everyone turns towards us, whispers coming from every direction.

Before anyone can reply to my comment, a familiar voice brings my attention to them.

"Clarke, you found Finn and Murphy" Abby Griffin rushes over to us looking each of us up and down, checking for injuries as she just seems to notice my presence "Wren? i-i thought you got killed?"

Before i could even blink, i'm wrapped into a tight hug by her which causes me to grimace in pain.

"oh i'm so sorry" she detached her self from me as she sees i'm in pain before looking at the bullet wound in my arm.

"its alright, just got grazed by a bullet, no biggie" i reassure her as i cast a side ways glance at Finn.

"come on, i'll bandage yo-" before she could finish, a voice I've missed so much calls my name.

"Wren?" i search the crowd for the voice and find Raven staring in shock over by the entrance.

"Raven" i cry out as we both run/limp to each other.

We meet in the middle and embrace each other tightly, scared if we let go, the other will disappear.

"oh my god, everyone told me you were died" she cries into my shoulder as i swallow the pain.

"i survived" i whisper to her as she slightly pulls back to examine my face.

She smiles lightly before pulling me into another bone crushing hug.

"I missed you" she tells me as she pulls away and takes a step back.

"I missed you too" I smile at her as I look around at all the faces and notice some people missing "where's Jasper and Monty and Miller"

I look at them and they had guilty looks on their faces.

"Um, the thing is, they were taken" Clarke states as she casts her eyes to the ground.

"By who?"

"They're called the mountain men" Bellamy responds as he avoids my gaze.

What did I do to him to make him act this way?

"Well why are we just standing here? Shouldn't we be finding them?"
