Two grounders on horses guide Clarke and i back to camp. The walk was silent and heavy as we think about the sacrifices we need to make for our people.

"hold your fire, they're back" Bellamy instructs as people yell out orders and open the gate for us.

We don't walk five feet in before Finn has rushed up to us "are you okay?"

"shut the gate" i order as Clarke grabs Finn's hand and pulls him away from the gate and the wondering eyes of the grounders.

"you can't be out here" I follow after them as Mamma Griffin embraces her daughter tightly. People crowd around and whisper as Raven and Bellamy move in closer "what did she say? is there a chance for a truce?"

"yes"

'there's good news and there's bad news" i state as everyone turns to me, waiting for me to continue "the good news is we can have a truce"

"and the bad news?" Raven interrupts as i look at the ground before meeting Finn's eyes, dreading having to tell him this "they want Finn"

"if we want a truce, we have to give them Finn" Clarke dumb's it down.

"what the hell are you talking about?" Raven questions as i grab her hand in mine, knowing this must be hard on her.

"that's their offer"

"that's not an offer" Raven starts as Finn finishes the sentence for her "it's a punishment, for what happened at the village. Blood for blood"

"that's insane" Bellamy comments as people start saying to give him to the grounders.

"if we refuse..."

"they attack"

People yell everywhere as they take threatening steps closer. Guards try to calm them down but they get even angrier as Raven launches herself at one of them.

She pushes him back but he immediately punches her in the face. Abby pulls Raven back to try to calm her down as Bellamy pushes people away.

I walk up to the guy that hit Raven and i punch him in the face as cheers erupt from the crowd, wanting to see a fight.

"that was for my sister" i hiss at him as he regains his balance and goes to charge at me but a pair of arms wrap around my waist and pull me away. I struggle to get free and to avenge my sister as the person behind me whispers in my ear "calm down little bird, now is not the time or place to be getting into fights"

I harshly pull away and turn to come face to face with Bellamy as someone from the crowd walks up to Finn and yells at him "i'm not dying for him. space walker burned three months of oxygen from the ark, he should've been floated along time ago"

"hey, shut up" I call out to him as i go to take a threatening step closer to him but once again, Bellamy hold me back.

"do you really want me to get started on you? you wasted 18 years of oxygen for one person on the ark, you shouldn't of been born" the same man yells at me.

"i'm going to make you wish you weren't born" i hiss at him as Raven goes up to him and punches him in the face, sticking up for me like i did for her.

Major Byrne goes to pull Raven away but she turns around harshly and punches her in the face.

"lock them up!" a guard orders as two guards grab Raven and two come over to me. I struggle against Bellamy as they near as they instruct Bellamy to hand me over.

"i got this one" Bellamy states as they nod and head off. We follow after Raven and the guards as we finally get to a closed off room where they leave Raven.
