Running into the burning town, screams and cries of pain come from every direction. I run from person to person, helping them escape from the hot flames that hungrily devour their home .

Leaving Cassius to help people escape, I make it to the center of town just as Indra is being pulled from the rumble.

"put me down, reaper" she yells in Trigedasleng, pushing Lincoln off of her.

"Octavia!" i call out while running to her. I hold her in front of me, checking for any injuries.

Before i can finish, a grunt comes from behind me as i spin around and see Indra clutching her shoulder that now has a bullet hole in it.

Yelling comes from everywhere as people rush around, trying to not get shot by a sniper.

"Octavia, go" Lincoln instructs as i grab her arm and pull her along, making sure she stays low.

I pull Octavia down behind a fallen piece of rumble before turning to her "you okay?" i question as it's answered with a nod from her.

"what do we do?" Octavia worriedly asks as someone runs out of their hiding spot and out in the open.

"Lowen no!" someone calls out to him but its to late as a bullet shots right though his head.

Octavia gasps lightly as we watch his dead body fall to the ground "we're trapped" a girl states the obvious.

"i say we use the sky girl to draw fire" a man suggests as i turn to him and glare "i say shut the fuck up" i snap before calming a bit "i'll figure something out"

"no offense but what's Citlali, the symbol of peace, going to do. You don't need peace in this situation, we need a solution to get out" the man continues as my glare hardens.

"i said i'll figure something out. You're constant complaining isn't helping so shut up" i hiss at him, finally making him shut up.

Out of the corner of my eye, Abby makes a move to get something but a near miss bullet makes her retreat.

"i gotta get down there" Abby explains as Octavia moves closer to her.

A man runs out, distracting the sniper as Lincoln throws Indra over his shoulder and runs towards us.

"Octavia, Wren come on" Lincoln instructs as the man is instantly shot down.

Bullets narrowly miss us as we make it back to cover and over to a group of grounders. Lincoln places Indra down as Nyko immediately treats her for her wound.

"what are we gonna do? we can't move"

"i'm going for the shooter" Lincoln exclaims "i'll sound the horn when it's done"

"alright my friend" Nyko tells him as he goes back to treating Indra.

"i'm going with you" Octavia states just as Lincoln's about to leave.

"no, Nyko needs you here" Lincoln dismisses while Octavia seems unsure "don't worry, I'll go with him" i reassure her as she gives me a nod in appreciation before turning back to Lincoln "are you sure you're up for this?"

"Get knocked down, get back up" Lincoln tells Octavia as he grabs her face and puts his forehead against hers all while I'm standing awkwardly in the back ground.

They finally break apart as Lincoln starts heading towards the Forrest with me close behind.

We run through the forest as quiet as we can with our weapons drawn.

I raise my stolen bow higher as we hear voices.
