The Summoned Calamity Monster

Chapter 12 "The 2nd Arrival"

It was night and the citizens were going to sleep.
It was the same day when Avaritia got adopted by humans.

But at the same time, in the Castle's Prison, the Evil Magician was performing the summoning.

It seemed like the King wasn't guarding the Evil Magician enough.

"Gehehehe...those fools. They think with just locking me up here, everything will be fine."

While performing another summon, the Evil Magician was snickering at how carefree the guards were.

"Good thing that today is a full moon."
The Evil Magician was pleased at the moons form.

The reason was, that he could only perform the summon of a monster from Avaritia's world at full moon.

"Gahahaha! another succees!"
At the sight of the mist that came of the Ground Portal forming into a creature, the Evil Magician was proud of his success.

And a second monster was brought to this world.

"Now I have to put on him the slave collar quickly."

After the last failure the evil magician decided to use one of his
hidden items.
The Slave Collar was a valuable object that could make Monsters obey the one who put it on them.

"Haaaaayaaaa!"

The Evil Magician quickly restrained the creature's arms and was about to put the slave collar on him.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?"

The creature grabbed the evil magician's throat with his tail's claw
and glared at him.

The creature took the collar away after freeing one of his hands, and kicked the Evil Magician.

"Gah!"

Since the Evil Magician was only resistant against magic attacks, he fainted from the creature's kick instantly.

Amicum the creature then checked his surroundings.

He was in a small cramped room, with just a skeleton that worked as it's only decoration.

The only way out was the cell door made out of steel.

Not wanting to stay any longer, the creature kicked the cell from every side.

But it didn't affect the cell at all.

"Hey Blue Cape! Where's this?"

The creature tried to wake the Evil Magician up, with shaking, with slaps, but nothing worked.

"Hey, what happened?" (guard 1)

"The Evil Magician is lying on the floor!" (guard 2)

"Check if he's dead!" (guard 1)

"But what if it's a trap?" (guard 2)

"He's clearly knocked out. What could possibly go wro-" (guard 1)

Before the guard could finish his sentence, Amicum slammed the guard to the ground and escaped.

"See? I told you it was a trap?"
(guard 2)
The guard complained, not even caring about the situation he was in.

After escaping the Castle Prison, the creature was about to ram the next door, until he tripped and fell the stairs next to the door.

"Ouch!"

"Agh!"

"Gyaah!"

After it fell all the stairs, the creature fainted.

When it woke up again, it realised it was in the treasure room, and it knocked the guards out after it fell down the stairs.

"Such beautiful shiny stuff..."

The creature was fascinated by all the treasure that was here.

Then it had an idea.

Since it would be impossible for it to steal all the gold, and the guards would notice, it used his ability.

Amicum had the ability to copy anything from his hand.
It copied the gold it was holding, then it threw the real gold out of the window, and replaced it with it's copied fake gold.

It repeated this action until it threw half of the gold out of the window.

"Heheheh...I'm so smart."
The creature praised itself while dashing out of the Castle to collect the gold.

It took small portions of the gold, and hid them in a small cave.

After it hid all his stolen gold, it wanted to have more gold.

But it didn't think it through.

"Capture it!"

After entering the castle, some people waited for it.

The king, elite guards, and the Hero.

The creature was shocked. It never felt such overwhelming power before.

That power came of the Hero.

The creature was so shocked of the Hero's strength, that it couldn't even move one inch.

The Hero was glaring at it, while the King seemed scared and looked like he was about to faint. Then the Hero casted his spell.

"Paralyzing Wind!"

The spell hit the creature head on, and it collapsed. The creature tried to move, but it couldn't. The creature panicked and struggled. But nothing worked.

"That was surprisingly easy."
An elite guard was mocking the creature for it's weakness.

"Don't underestimate the monsters from the other side! I just prepared for this moment."
The Hero responded with a warning.

The elite guards took the paralyzed Amicum with them, and brought him back to the Castle's Prison.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, hero? Why didn't you kill it?"
The King was unsure about the capturing of that creature.

But the Hero answered with...
"Yes, we could find out more about those monsters..."

The Hero paused.

"And maybe even more information about that Avaritia and The Demon's Shadow."
The Hero ended his sentence with a frustrated expression.

While Avaritia's name wasn't heard of again in the kingdom, the Hero was still expecting the worst.

But the capturing of the Demon's Shadow was also really important.

This Thief stole most of the treasures that belonged to the king.

He was one of the most wanted Criminals in the Lighting Kingdom.

"Those two are a threat to the Lighting Kingdom."
The King responded while trembling.

"A Calamity will rise... I just know it."
The hero replied back while looking into the distance.
