My confused angel: A Castiel love story

Surprises not the good kind

I decide to take a shower, cause hot showers always make things better for me. When I'm done, I grab some clothes. Then I grab my stuff and go to the boys room and knock. I know their gonna check the peep hole so I save them the trouble.

"Dean, Sam! It's me, open up!" I say.

Dean opens the door and I go in.

"Where's Sam?" I ask.

"Shower, he takes forever so grab a seat and here's a beer." He says.

"Sure." I say and go to take the beer from Dean's hand, but I can see that he's hesitating.

"Yes I can drink beer, I'm 21 Dean." I say, kinda annoyed.

"Pffft I knew that." He says and starts drinking his beer.

Uh huh, sure.

About 30 minutes later, Sam comes out of the shower...with just a towel around his waist. He's my brother so I'm kinda uncomfortable. As soon as he sees me, he grabs his clothes and awkwardly goes back to the bathroom. I couldn't help but laugh at his awkwardness and Dean laughs with me. When Sam finally gets out of the bathroom, we leave.

"So what's the case about?" I ask.

"A girl, named Anna Milton escaped a mental facility." Sam says.

"And how is that strange?" I ask.

"Cause Sam's demon bitch Ruby, told him it was important." Dean says.

"Demon?! What the hell Sam?!" I yell.

"Ella, you don't know what I went through, so stay out of it please." Sam says.

I kinda felt insulted. Family shouldn't keep secrets. Dean must have saw that I was upset.

"Sam, she's our sister. She deserves to know." Dean says.

"Your right, Dean. I'm sorry Ella." Sam says.

And then he explains everything. From trying to make deals from a cross roads demon to get Dean out of Hell, to meeting Ruby, to sleeping with Ruby, which I did not need to know, to now.

"I know you don't trust or like demons, Ella but you can trust Ruby." Sam says.

I can tell from Dean's scoff that he doesn't and that he doesn't want me to, not that I was gonna anyway. I am completely pissed off, but I'm not gonna say anything. Demons make me think of my mom's death. I remember when Meg left, that I realized that she left the knife that she used to kill my mom, on the floor. I used it on a demon, and it killed it instantly, so ever since, I kept the knife. ( It looks like Ruby's knife)

I don't even have time to comment on what Sam told me, cause we're already at the hospital. Dean literally throws some clothes at my face.

"Change into that so that you look like you're an FBI agent." Dean says.

"I know the drill; I even have my own fake FBI badge." I say.

The boys get out while I change into an FBI agent skirt and blouse. It's kinda boring looking but I'm not changing into the other one, which I don't even wanna know why Dean has an FBI outfit that is that inappropriate in his car. I get out of the car and follow the boys inside the institution. As the boys talk about Anna with someone, I focus on her drawings. The rising of witnesses. That's...that's a sign of the apocalypse, which makes me think of what Meg said. She said I had a part to play in the apocalypse and Castiel says Heaven wants me for something important. Could they both be related to each other? I zoned out while Dean and Sam were talking, but turns out we're going to Anna's house. We drive there and the guys talk about seals being broken but I stay in silence.

***After they go to Anna's house***

I feel bad for Anna. She's missing and she doesn't know that her parents are dead. At least she didn't have to see it. So, Sam thinks Anna is at a church so that's where we're headed or where we were headed cause we're here. We all look around and then we go to the attic, where we find Anna.

"We're not gonna hurt you. We're not demons. My name's Dean, this is Sam and that's Ella." Dean says.

She steps out.

"Dean? As in the Dean? Winchester?" She says.

"Yeah, the Dean." Dean says amused.

"The angels talk about you a lot. And you're Sam, they talk about you too, but a lot of them don't like you. And you're Ella, the long lost sister. The angels we're surprised that they never knew about you, say that you're special." Anna explains.

"Wait, you talk to angels?" Dean asks.

"Oh no, they probably don't even know I exist, I just listen." She says, embarrassed.

"So you can tap into angel radio?" Dean asks.

"Pretty much." Anna says.

"Since when?" Sam asks.

"I can tell you the exact date. September 18th." She says.

"The day you got out of Hell." Sam says to Dean.

"First words clear as day. Dean Winchester is saved." Anna says.

Out of nowhere, a girl with brown hair and brown eyes comes in the attic.

"Ruby?" Sam asks.

Oh, so this is Ruby, the demon bitch.

"Come on, we have to go." The girl says.

"Oh no, her face!" Anna panics.

"It's okay, she's with us." Sam says.

"We have to hurry, we got trouble coming, big." Ruby says.

"And whose fault is that?!" Dean says.

"Yours. He followed you from the girl's house." Ruby says.

After those words come out of her mouth, it all happens so fast. Really fast; Dean and Sam are forcefully thrown over about six rows of chairs. I see blood drip down a statues nose. I see Ruby take Anna to a door and close it behind her. I panic as a demon comes towards me; I look over towards my brother, as I want help. There still coming over from the blow they just taken. My hunter instinct comes in and I run toward the demon stab my knife right in his chest. I quickly put it out, and stood back looking at him. It did not do anything to the demon and he just looks at me and laughs. I throw the knife in his forehead, but he did not even flinch. He reaches up for the knife and put it out of his head.
"Try again" the Demon said mockingly. I grab my knife, and this time I was not dump enough to throw it again as it obviously was not working. I turn to run when suddenly...

"Oh what a surprise, Gabriel's burden is right in front of me. And she's a Winchester." He says then throws me across the room, with my brothers beside me.

Gabriel's burden? Who's Gabriel and why am I supposedly his burden?

Sam and Dean both look at the window and I know what their thinking. We're gonna jump out of the window. They both look at me and I nod my head, indicating that I know what we're gonna do. So we all run and jump out the window...My first thought is Son of a bitch! Which makes me think Dean is already rubbing of on me. We all start limp/running back to the impala. We start driving back to the hotel to take care of our wounds; Sam's arm, Dean's shoulder and my broken wrist. On the way, I can't help but think of everything I've learned today...
