Kaneki's PoV:
I woke up the next day, I sniff, it smelt... amazing... I feel the surface underneath me, warm... so warm... but I feel restricted, like I can't get up, as if something was holding me down... I look to see I was laying on Hide. I instantly burned up... but... I felt... happy.
Of course me and Hide has never had moments like this, nor this close... it's strange to think my best friend from childhood is doing this... with me...! I keep hearing him in my head 'Kaneki, I love you' playing over and over, I get the biggest smile just thinking about it...! I wish I knew his feelings about me from the start. I nuzzle into his chest "I love you so much Hide..." I mumble. "Love you too Kaneki" I heard Hide say.
Hide's PoV:
Kaneki sat up, breaking from my hug "H-Hide...?! I-I didn't know you were awake...!" He stutters, I chuckle. "Geez Kaneki, calm down" I sit up "you should've expected it, I've been awake for 3 hours, you sure do love your sleep"
Kaneki looks away in embarrassment, i scruff his hair with a smile "but good morning, Kaneki" I said. He looks at me and smiles a bit "yeah... good morning Hide..." he hugs me. "Come on buddy, gotta get up now" I get up, making sure he doesn't fall. I walk to the kitchen making sure he doesn't fall, then make us both a drink. I handed him his drink, he took it with two hands after getting down then drinks it. "So Kaneki, you up for roller skating? I'll book in for a private room" I said, sipping my drink while stroking his hair with my spare hand. Kaneki nods.
"Great! Glad we could both agree^^"
