Gifted Children

Chapter 15

After the group got all of their stuff ready, they decided to go to the beach. 

Isabelle put her swimsuit on, and once Nick turned to look at her, his jaw dropped. 

"Alright no need to drool," Isabelle told him as she playfully hit him on the chest. Nick got into his swim trunks, and they headed down with the rest of the group. They all walked down to the beach, and everyone put down their towels. As Jack began to walk toward the water, Nick ran towards him and tackled him into the water.

"OH SHIT," Jack yelled as he crashed into the water.

Everyone started laughing as they ran after them to the water. As Stella ran into the water after Markus she splashed him as hard as she could. The group didn't really mind the way they treated each other because they could all tell they both really liked each other and they were happy for Stella and Markus.

"Chicken fight!" Colin yelled. He hopped on Zack's shoulders and Jack hopped on Markus. Stella and Isabelle laughed at the boys as Markus pushed Nick enough that Nick fell into the water. Isabelle waded over to Nick.

"Great job, loser," she teasingly told him.

"Oh yeah? Like you could do any better," He looked at her with a cocky face.

"Alright, let's go, Nicholas," Isabelle smirked as she said his full name jokingly.

Isabelle got on Jack's shoulders, and Nick got on Colin's. They started to chicken fight, and Isabelle finally got the upper hand when he got distracted by her smirk. She noticed that he was distracted, and pushed him on the chest. Since he wasn't ready, he fell right into the water. Colin just fell backwards so Isabelle could get off of him.

"Told you I would beat you," Isabelle said to him with a big smile on her face.

"Well the fact you're so beautiful just, well, caught me off guard. It's not fair," Nick said to her while fake-pouting. 

"Well, technically I would get distracted by you each time I see your incredibly handsome face, but I know how to control myself," Isabelle said, blushing at the fact that he called her beautiful.

They were then interrupted by Jack yelling out to them, "Hey lovebirds! Stop flirting! We want to go to back to the hotel!"

Isabelle blushed, but Nick just grabbed her hand and ran out of the water with her. They grabbed their towels and put their clothes that they brought over their swimsuits. They caught up to the rest of the group, and started chattering happily. 

They decided to go out to eat, and got Chipotle. They all ordered, and decided to eat inside the restaurant. By the time they got done eating, it was evening. They began to walk back to the hotel, heard a large crash. They knew that it was something they needed to investigate. They began to run towards where they heard the crash come from. 

They saw a broken window. A bank. It was being robbed. Isabelle used her mind to talk with the group. 

'We need to stop them.'

'Are you sure? I don't want any of us to get hurt,'  Nick said back as he looked at Isabelle. She knew exactly what he was thinking. He didn't want her to get hurt again.

'I think it'll work. But remember, we also are a lot stronger even without out powers. Don't cause a ruckus if you don't have to,'  Markus cautioned the group. 'And put your hoods up. There could still be a security camera up.'

All at once, they slowly raised their hoods over their heads. They crept up to the front door.

"Hey guys!" Nick said in a fake-cheerful tone.
