The group rushed to put their suits on. Thor, Peter, and Steve were now Spiderman, Captain America, and, well, Thor. The 8 friends all put theirs on as well.
They all rushed to the sight of the fire.
"Jesus Christ, they weren't kidding about the fire," Markus said as they flew above the museum.
Deploying Hot Shield
All of their suits had deployed a hot shield so that they wouldn't be hurt in the fire.
"There are 15 people in there," Peter said pointing to the museum. "We need to get them out before anything else worse happens."
They all looked at each other and nodded. They all dived into the building and began to search for people.
Isabelle got into a part of the building that had debris everywhere. All of a sudden, she heard someone yell.
"Help! Help me, please!"
Isabelle followed the sound to find a woman trapped under a bookcase. Isabelle threw the bookcase off of the woman and picked her up. She speedily got the woman out and to the paramedics.
Markus found a small boy with his father on the top floor. He took the small boy first and then came back to get his father.
One by one, each person got another person out. They had gotten fifteen people out. But Isabelle could sense something.
"There's someone else in there."
"What?" Steve asked her, as he was the only one who heard her.
"There's someone else in there. My sensors can see it," she told him as she began to run back into the building.
"Woah, you're not going back in there."
"I have to. There is a child in there," Isabelle gave him a hard stare.
Steve nodded.
Isabelle ran back in, trying to find the child anywhere. All of a sudden, she got a warning from her suit.
Heat Shield is damaged. It will be turned off in 45 seconds.
"Shit," she said under her breath.
She searched all over for the child. She looked in the bottom floors.
Heat Shield is turned off.
"No, no, no, no, no!"
She continued to search, although she was so hot she couldn't think. She rushed to the top floor, which was the only place she hadn't looked in. Finally, she saw a child's face in the back corner.
She picked up the child.
"Hey, we're gonna get you outta here, okay?" she told the little girl.
The girl just nodded.
Isabelle made sure the child's face was buried inside her chest so that she wouldn't breathe in as much smoke. Isabelle ran to the roof and tried to fly off to the ground. But she couldn't even lift off.
Your mind and body are not well enough for flying.
She had to think of something.
"Okay, Sweetie," she told the little girl, "I'm gonna have to do something really scary, okay? I just need you to promise me to hold on to me as hard as you can."
The girl nodded and grasped onto Isabelle's suit and buried her face into Isabelle's chest. Isabelle took a deep breath, then started running. As soon as she got to the edge of the building, she jumped. She hugged the little girl as tight as she could, then as soon she was about to hit the ground, she made a blanket of fire that wouldn't hurt her or the girl. She rolled onto the ground and gasped. She looked at the little girl.
