SUMMERS POV
_________________

I finally left the hospital my parents signed the discharged papers when I got home I ran up to the guest room slamming the door open, his stuff was gone everything was gone.

Tears welled up in my eyes I walked in shutting the door I walked in the bathroom seeing a note.

I can't keep fighting with you summer it's better if we dont see each other anymore.

Carter.

I dropped on the floor crying my eyes out, I didn't want this to happen, what I wanted was us to become friends or more than that I folded up the note shoving it in my pocket finding myself in my room, I slammed the door sliding down on the wall.

I wasn't ready to go to school yet, I didn't want to face him.

"Why me?".

I climbed in my bed pulling the covers over my face two sets of footsteps neared my door stopping.

"Summer, are you okay?" I shook my head yes forgetting they can't see me.

"I'm fine" my voice cracked at the end, they walked away talking among themselves, I grabbed my phone installing Instagram, I loged in my old account from two years ago looking up Carter's page.

I texted him.

'Please Carter what did I do'.

I waited and waited for his reply but he never answered just read it I felt like a dummy like he was really about to reply back to me, I slipped my shoes on slipping out the house.

I walked to his house knocking on the front door his step father answered the door shaking his head at me.

"Carter doesn't want to see you" he went to shut the door but I stopped him.

"No!, I just need to see him real quick" he shook his head no shutting the door, I banged on it feeling my hand burn.

"CARTER YOU CAN'T SHUT ME OUT" my voice laced with sadness, he opened his window eyes blazing with fire.

"Go away summer, you don't get to stand there and act like you care" he shut his window shutting his curtains.

"But, I always did even if you did bully me" I whispered even though he couldn't hear me.

I roamed the streets feeling empty inside my feet ached from walking around tears rolled my cheeks balling up my fist.

I finally made my way home, the lights were off the door still unlocked I walked up to my room crashing on my bed closing my eyes.

******

I dreaded school I still had to go though I didn't brush my hair or my teeth I sprayed perfume over my odor slipping on my old shoes going back to my big sweatshirts and baggy pants.

I walked to school a hood over my head happy kids chatted away as I neared the school I looked up seeing the same kids Carter chatted happily with his friends one of his friends pointed my way Carter looked my way then turning around shrugging his shoulders.

A tear slipped down I didn't wipe it away, I dragged my feet on the floor going inside, hearing conversations about me.

"What's wrong with her?".

"She looks like a damn bum".

"I will never become her friend" I heard a familiar voice and it belongs to tiffany, I didn't say anything all I wanted was Carter.

Class is always a drag I sat in the back pulling my hood over my head more, Carter's voice boomed in the class his laugh ringed in my ears.

"Dude you should really go talk to her she looks fucked" his friend laughed out loud sitting down three rows up Carter didn't even look my way.

"No heads down in my class" I ignored my teacher and kept it down I cried silently in my hand, not wanting attention from anyone.

Someone kicked my chair.

"Stop fucking crying I can't hear the teacher" I wiped my nose with the back of my hand getting up I grabbed my stuff slowly walking down between the desks.

"I should of never made friends with you summer" my hand shook my legs wobbled, I turned around looking in his eyes, he didn't look fazed at all.

I smiled sadly.

"I...love...you" I whispered his eyes widen, I walked out going out the double front doors I thought Carter would follow me but he didn't I felt depressed about everything that happened to me, I made my way down the street.

My parents were gone at work I opened the door closing it behind me, I dropped my bag on the floor going to my room.

"I wish I was dead" I said lowly, I flipped my bed over tearing up my room pushing over my dresser, I grabbed the box that hold the pictures I ripped them up throwing them on my floor.

"You broke my heart Carter, but I will not chase you anymore not this time" I rocked in the corner of my room I will keep my word to no more of this lovey dovey shit.

"No more" I got up went to my bathroom laying in the bathtub letting the tear drops drop down hoping it will fill up the tub so I can drown in it.

I don't know how long I stayed here but my back was starting to ache.

"Summer!, the school called and said you walked out of school" my mother says coming up the stairs.

"Summer what did you do to your room" I sniffled closing my eyes "and where are you?" I didn't trust my voice so I got up walking out staring at my mother, she gasped hugging me.

I cried on her shoulder she rubbed my back letting me go.

"Summer its going to be okay" she smiles at me walking out, I stood there still letting the tears spill, I was tired of crying.

I was going to Graduate from high school in four months I had to let things go now I'm nineteen I can't be acting like a little bitch who always wants her way I've been crying for too long now.

"You broke me and my heart and didn't care".
