CARTER'S POV

Summer didn't have to do go off like that, I mean I thought she didn't care about me. Simply because I was hanging out with some girl she acts like I date her or something.

She thinks she's bad just because she moved away and came back bad, well shit doesn't go easy in life like that, I wanted to ask her something but she's all up tight, having a stick up her ass all the damn time.

I heard banging on the guest bedroom door, I shoved my face in my pillow not wanting get up.

"Who is it?" I clearly didn't want anyone bothering me right now. The banging didn't stop, I got up opening the door I looked down seeing summer looking flushed.

"Can I help you" she grunted shoving pass me still in her pajamas, flopping on the bed I closed the door walking up to the bed pushing her over on the left side of the bed, she got up not facing me. I don't have time for her games right now I can easily tell what's up.

"What's going on in that pretty head of yours" I sat beside her nudging her shoulder.

"Do-uh, I" she stumbled over her words her eyebrows knitting together in frustration.

"Do you think I'm a fuck up?". She faced me her lips in a thin line.

"No" I bluntly replied, she huffed out some breath tying her hair up, I always thought she was so gorgeous, her plumped lips, to her button nose. Things between us now is complicated.

"Yeah right, your just saying to pity me" she rolled her eyes getting up.

"I don't know why I came here" she made her way towards the door, I stopped her grabbing her forearm.

" I don't pity you summer, it's-just" I let her go running my hand through my hair, I was to afraid  I was going to say the wrong thing, so what I did. I showed her.

I turned back around to her grabbing her face, she looked taken back at first back but went with it, I leaned in placing my lips on her warm one's, I kissed her slowly pulling her waist towards mine. I licked her bottom lip bitting it slightly, she wrapped her arms around my neck gripping my hair making me groan.

We let go getting air her cheeks had a light pink tint to it, I looked into her eyes smiling, she blushed turning the knob on the door leaving without a word.

School for me was tiring, I showed summer how much I cared for her even if she didn't want to believe it, I missed my buddies Tyler and Aaron. Even though they wouldn't approve of summer being with me all the time.

I don't think I can tell on summer for killing them.

I was sitting at the lunch table with other kids, I took glances at summer ever so often her laugh was music to me ears.

"Dude are you listening" I snapped my eyes to David or was it Dave.

"No" I grunted out. Summer was doing something to me all right. She never even said anything after that kiss.

"Hey baby" some girl came over here swaying her hips, she said that loud enough to make the whole cafeteria look at us even summer.

She sat on my lap pulling her top down she leaned in to my face bitting my earlobe.

"Can you get off me" I pushed her off me making her Stumbled back a bit, I wanted to make things right between me and summer.

"Baby, when am I going to see you're family" still stitting on my lap. She placed her hand on the back of my neck placing her lips on mine, literally fucking sucking my lips. I heard a chair scrap on the floor looking up I saw summer looking at me with sad eyes walking out with her head down low.

I pushed the girl off me getting up fast running out the double doors .

"Summer" I shouted her name turning and twisting corners, nearing the girls bathroom I heard sniffles and light sobs. I opened the door going to the last stall.

"Summer please open the stall, it's not what it looked like".

"Please get out" she let a sob escape her lips, I got on my knees crawling under the stall door, summer sat on the floor in the corner her face in her knees.

" I guess I mean nothing to you or that kiss" my heart broke at what she said.

"You mean everything to me that's why I showed that I cared, please don't shut me out, that girl meant nothing to me" I touched her hand, she flinched back looking at me with bloodshot eyes tears running down her cheeks.

"Please go, I don't even know why I returned here" she held back a cry not meeting my eye.

"Summ-".

"I said fucking go!" She screamed at me gritting her teeth together. I got up unlocking the door walking outside of the bathroom, I walked out of school pulling my keys out unlocking the door sliding in shutting my door, I sat there for some time.

I slammed my hands on the steering wheel several times, I gripping it making my knuckles white, I let a tear slip down my cheek, I messed up she probably won't forgive me now.

I let a sob escape my lips.

"God damnit" I gripped my hair feeling useless now, fate sure is shitty now and days.

I turned the engine on pulling out my parking spot onto the road, I stopped at summers house getting out, I got the spare key unlocking the door trudging in the living room sitting down on the couch.

It's dark out I was waiting for summer to get back I never left the couch.

I heard the door open I sprung out my seat I saw summer with a glum look on her face, "summer".

She turned her head towards me walking past going up the stairs slamming her door, I was not going to lose her again.

I banged on her door shouting felling pissed with myself.

"Summer Please just hear me out just for a second". I heard music blasting drowning my shouting.

I gave up after five minutes, I made my way to my room pulling off my shirt shutting the door. I layed on the bed staring at the ceiling, how did this even happen?.
