Chapter 6!!! The Perfect Date (edited)

I am having fun writing this so maybe even a 4th update today. Please comment and vote. I want to see how you like it. :) and by the way, they are both 18 Laura November 29 Ross December 29

Laura's POV

So Ross asked me on a date, and I have no idea what he's up to. Rydel and her gracious soul told me she would help me get ready for this date. I wonder what she has planned.

I drive over to their house. I get out of my car and walk to the familiar front door. I ring the doorbell and Rydel answers the door.

She greets me with a gorgeous smile. "Hey Laura! Ready for a makeover?"

"Ready as I'll ever be," I say shrugging my shoulders.

As walk up to Rydel's and she opens her closet. I am baffled. She has so many clothes. I have known her for years and I didn't even know she had so many clothes.

"I know... so many clothes! So since Ross's favorite color is yellow, I was thinking maybe a yellow dress...?" She says trailing off.

"That's perfect! How many yellow dresses do you have?" I say while going through them all.

Rydel pushes me aside gently.
"Oh honey. Leave it to me."

She goes into the closet and pulls out probably 10 different yellow dresses. I love them all, but only one popped out at me.

"This. This is the one."

This dress went to the knee and had ruffles on the top that cascaded down. Rydel wants me to wear a belt with it so I chose a brown one.

"Laura y-you look... amazing. No joke. Now its HAIR TIME." She says in a sing song voice.

She got out her curling wand and we finished my hair about an hour later since my hair is so thick. We finally got done with my hair and got to the make up. Rydel did a smokey eye and put pink lip gloss on me.

"Okay done! Wanna look in the mirror?"

I looked in the mirror and I looked like a completely different person.

"Whoa Rydel! You did amazing! I look awesome. I love you."

"No problem. Anything for my girl."

We were done 30 minutes to 7 which is when Ross was supposed to pick me up. Rydel and I went downstairs to find a note on the door.

Our date is going to be amazing. Be ready. Riker will come and pick you up and bring you to our special location. He knows where to go.

Ross's POV

I have the best date planned for Laur. She's going to LOVE it. I told Riker to drive her to the special location. Laura has no idea what I have planned but i am sure she'll love it. I am sitting here at the location waiting for the time to come. I told Riker to text me when he picked up Laur. I am so nervous, but I shouldn't. This is Laura. No need to be nervous.

Laura's POV

It's 7 and I am starting to get nervous. But i know there is no need to be nervous around the sweetheart Ross Lynch. I see a car park in front of the house. Riker's here.

"Hey Laura. You look amazing. Ross is going to love it. Now would you please put this blindfold on?"

"Is this really necessary?" I ask.

"Yes now put it on. You can trust me."

"Okay fine."

I put it on and Riker guides me to the car. I sit down in th passenger seat. I have no idea where we are going, but Riker said I can trust him so I am. We finally come to a stop.

"Okay! We're here."

Riker opened the door and guides me 10 minutes down what I think is a dirt or gravel road.

"You may now remove your blindfold. Follow the candles."

I see a bunch of mini candles in a trail. I turn around and Riker isn't there anymore. I was kind of nervous, but I had the candles. How did he light all these? Must have taken him hours. Plus a lot of help. I went around a final bend on the road and all of the sudden it turned to green and the candles went off to an opening on the side of the dirt road. I went into it to find a green meadow surrounded by flowers. In the middle of the meadow was standing the one and only Ross Lynch. I smiled and started running towards him. He picked me up and spun me around.

"You look ama-"

I cut him off by kissing him. He seemed a bit startled, but then relaxed into it. Our lips moved together in perfect sync. We both smiled into the kiss. I pulled away to find Ross's eyes still closed. He opened them slowly.

"Whoa..."

"That good?"

"Very much so." He smiled.

He leaned in again but I stopped him by putting a hand on his chest.

"We did come here for a date, right?"

"Oh yeah. Ha! Follow me."

He grabbed my hand and led me to an area where I saw a blanket on the ground. There was a picnic basket and everything.

"Do you like it?"

I looked at him in awe. "You did this all for me?"

"Well um.. yeah." There's that smile again.

I kissed him again.

"Look at the shy girl, taking control."

I laughed and then started blushing.

We sat down and started eating the food that was prepared. When we finished eating, he helped me up.

"I love you so much Laura Marie Murano, will you be my girlfriend?"

I looked at him and he pulled out a box and opened it.

"It's a promise ring promising that I will be here for you for now and for always."

I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. One escaped down my cheek.

"Of course I will Ross."

We kissed for a long time. Tonight was... perfect.
