Laura's pov
It was such a great birthday.
Laura: thank you Ross. This was the greatest birthday. The breakfast, the necklace, the movie. Thank you Ross.
Ross: glad to give you the best birthday ever my love.
He pulls me in by my waist and kisses me. He pulls away.
Laura: I love you.
He responds with another kiss. He pulls away and just lays our foreheads together. The moment is ruined by the babies starting to cry.
Laura: dang it! Probably gotta change them. Help me?
Ross: of course. How would you change all 3. By yourself?
Laura: gotta point. Come on. Gotta face the smellies.
I laugh at her comment. We run up the stairs. All three are crying. We would probably have to change them regardless of if that is the reason they're crying. Gotta feed them too.
Ross: I'll do Rebecca's.
I lay her on the changing table and she just cries.
Ross: hey. It's okay. Just gotta change your diaper and then feed you.
I tickle her tummy and that helps a bit. I open the diaper and immediately close it. Laura laughs at me.
Laura: big poopy?
I nod. I open it again and get a new diaper. Oh my gosh. How do they poop like this. They're so small and they make massive turds. I have been getting faster at changing diapers. I am done in less than five minutes. That's a record for me. Laura and I finish at the same time and go for the third one.
Laura: I'll get him. I pumped earlier so you can get going on feeding Rachel and Rebecca.
Ross: alright.
I warm up the milk and Laura comes down the stairs with Raiden. She nurses him and I bottle feed the girls. They were hungry. I am glad they're eating and not crying anymore. It was late, and we were tired. I could see it in her eyes.
Ross: tired babe?
Laura: yes. When we are done feeding the babies let's put them back to sleep and then we can go to bed.
Ross: it's a plan.
I have two babies in my arms. Laura stands up and rocks back and forth with the baby. Rebecca finally falls asleep. I decide to stand up with Rachel and Raiden. They both fall asleep after 5 minutes.
Ross: better put them in their beds.
Laura: yeah. I'm exhausted.
We put the babies in their beds and go to our bed. We get under the covers.
Ross: Laur?
She just stays in the same position.
Ross: Laur?
I guess she was tired. I kiss her head.
Ross: good night my love.
