Ross's POV
Tonight's the night. Our first date. I didn't think this time would come for a while, given the fact that I was so scared to tell her how I felt. But it all just happened so fast. One second I was pouring my heart out to her and the next...
Since I am flustered at the moment, I resort to asking my siblings to help planning this special date. Might as a well get some ideas.
"Okay. Guys. No dilly dallying. This is serious. This is Laura and I's first date. I need to make it perfect. Any ideas?" I should've knows they would get off topic a bit. This is gonna take a while.
"Awwwww. My little brother has a crush!" Rydel squeals.
"Not really a crush," everybody looks at me confused, "I love her." I say shyly.
"Whoa! You told her? You brave soul.... I like her sister Vanessa, but I'm too scared to say anything." Riker spills. Wow I honestly I had no dies he liked her that much.
"Well? Does she love you back? Laura?" Rocky gets us back on topic.
"Yes." I practically whisper.
"My brother's got a girlfriend! My brother's got a girlfriend!" Rylanf chants in a singsongy manner.
"Not yet Ryland. I'm asking her tonight and making it official. That's why it has to be perfect." I run my hand through my blonde hair. I'm honestly so stressed about this. What if she says no?
"Oo! Oo! Oo! I'll help her get ready! The makeup, the clothes... I can't wait!" Rydel sounds excited.
"I know it's probably too soon, but why not buy her a promise ring? It'll show how committed you are to her." Riker explains.
"You're right, Riker. I have to show her that I'm all in. I want to be her one and only."
"You should do a romantic picnic. Gets them every time." Rocky I guess knows what he's doing when it comes to girls.
"Another great idea!" I say.

Clerk: May I help you?
Ross: Yes. I am asking a special girl to be my girlfriend, and I am looking for a promise ring. Got any good ones?
Clerk: Oh yes! We have these ones that are really popular.
She shows me three different ones, but they weren't right for Laura. I want a ring that is unique like her.
Ross: I want something unique. She deserves special.
Clerk: Well how about these?
She holds out 4 rings. One popped out to me. It was a simple band but was elegant at the same time with 3 diamonds lining the top, the middle diamond being the biggest.
Ross: This. This is the one. He pointed. Do you do engravings?
Clerk: why yes we do. What do you want it to say?
Ross: For now and for always.
Clerk: Will do. That sounds beautiful. I am sue she will love it.
Tonight is going to be perfect.
