Deadly midnight

Maintaining his calm, Arnav strides toward the patient. The creak was enough to alert her senses. The memories that haunted her every single moment felt so near to her. Her breathe halted as his presence started torturing her entire being.

While he just glare her as he saw a lady sleeping on the bed with her back facing him. Slowly he close the distance between them and come near her. Anger and hatred he stored finally released when his eyes fell on her.

''Khushi gupta'' He uttered her name, before grabbing her shoulder and then slowly turn to see her. She get stunned and held her breathe sharply. Due to darkness, she couldn't see anything. But she never do mistake in recognizing his voice.

As he carried his hand to touch her, she get awful. Her fist grab her blanket tightly that is covered her modesty from his evil eyes. That horrible night rolled back before her eyes. She took painful sigh before lifting instrument from side table and attack on his face..

He carefully scan her face and a evil smile plastered his face. He took a deep breathe and smile at the unknown girl.

Arnav: ''So you are Nisha's friend''. Scarefully the patient move backward scared of his advances. ''Sorry young girl. I have no such intention to scare you. Really sorry for this inconvenience. I thought you were..'' He stop saying ahead and took the leave. Without realizing, the girl he was thinking out of his life already made an entry to destroy him like the way he destroyed each and every happiness out of her life.

Exactly on the next ward, a person shouted in pain when Khushi bang his head. On a right moment, a women came there to handle the situation before Arnav Singh raizada suspect Khushi. She grab Khushi hand and then pull the man backward. But he shouted again.

Women: ''Keep your mouth shut, will you..?'' She warn to Nikhil before turning back to Arnav was just passed from this room. Sighing deeply, she corner Nikhil asking him to be quiet for a moment. Nikhil nodded obediently but got confused by her behaviour. He don't know who is she and why she is behaving like this as if she has seen any ghost outside the room. His gaze then casted on vulnerable Khushi who just attacked him.

''Arnav singh raizada! Did he saw Khushi? Hope not''.Women prayed within her heart. She can't let Arnav to see Khushi at any cost or something worse may happen again. Last time she couldn't do anything for this innocent girl but not this time. She will do anything to protect Khushi from that monster. Burai chahe kitne takatwar kyu na ho..ek na ek din sachai se haar hi jati hain (No matter how strong or powerful evil must be..sooner or later it will defeat in front of goodness)

Nikhil move to Khushi and held her hand. But she jerk him and pass a cold glare to him. Her reaction definitely shock him.

Nikhil: "Khushi, it's me. Nikhil. Why did you shouted dumbo? You almost attempted my murder . She continue glaring him emotionless.

"I will complain to Nisha that her crazy friend torture this poor baby". He pouted making a sad face while rubbing his head that get swell due to her assault.

Women chuckled, but there is no reaction on Khushi's face. She just look away. There is no emotion on her face. Only pain visible in them. Nikhil caught Khushi gaze as she is staring at women differently. Does Khushi knows her? But who is she?

Nikhil have no clue what's the matter. What relation she shares with Khushi? Why she insisted him to shift Khushi to other ward on urgent basis. Upon that why Khushi did attacked him? Few moments ago, she was all normal. Then what happened to her suddenly. There are several questions in his mind. He needed to find the answer. The unknown women make any lame excuse and lie to him cleverly. Moreover she can't tell anyone about Asr deeds. In fact, she is the only one who knew every single deeds of Arnav singh raizada.
