A girl of late 20's was pacing left and right in an empty space of the corridor. Her hand was fidgeting with her dupatta. She is waiting for any positive news as the tension were arising and making her scared like hell.
Girl: Oh lord please save her! She rang her brother's number several times asking him to come here as early as possible but he is not answering. She gripped her head distressfully she felt a tap on her shoulder. With a jerk she turn around and saw her boyfriend, Nikhil before her.
Nisha(Grabbing his hand): You are scaring me nikhil..Please say something..
Nikhil: Doctor is trying their best but she is not responding to any drug..it seems that she lost all hopes and she don't want to survive.
Nisha: What rubbish are you talking..? Why would she do that..just recently she got married..she was so happy with jiju..
Nikhil: It's a suicide case!
She step back shaking her head in denial.
Nisha: Are you out of your mind! Why would khushi commit suicide..? Just few days ago I had talked to her..she was going to get married to Manav and very content and excited with it. Due to my studies in US, i can't able to attend her wedding but i was in touch with her all the time. She had no problem in her life that made her to took such drastic step. That doctor is talking rubbish..It's utterly crap.
Nikhil: It's true Nisha, She had commited suicide. I saved her from drowning and then inform you the same while you were about to reach her hometown. Thankfully i reach on time and rescue her otherwise I can't imagine what has happened.
Nisha: No! This is not possible! She can never do that. She shoved his hand and rushed inside the ICU where her best friend residing. She is laying on the bed with several needles connected to her. Her face looking pale and dark circles appear around her eyes. It's like no life left inside her. She look like a dead body. Her heart cried seeing her like that.
Nurse restrain her entry at first but she give no damn to her and sat beside her.
Nisha: Stupid duffer this is how you are going to meet me? I feel like kicking you! (She clenched her fist in a tight punch wanted to beat her. She fought back in tears.)
Nisha: Come on! Get up now and talk to me.. Khushi i am warning you last time if you didn't get up i will I will..(Unable to hold her emotion anymore, she burst into crying hugging her closely.)
Why you did this khushi! Not once you thought about me! How does i felt seeing you like this? On reaching to India, first thing i did was to come to your place instead of going to my home because i wanted to meet my best friend first. I thought to surprise you and here you gave me surprise..) She sob weeping in her arms..
