Chapter 13

I am apologizing for the last couple weeks. My phone has been on the fritz. It hasn't been loading any of my apps and the same thing happened with my Ipad. I also had no internet. I will try to update for like a week to make up for it.

Luke's P.O.V.

Once I dropped Thalia off at her car, I drove in silence back to my house. I was still in shock that she even said yes to going on a date. I don't know what courage came over me after I did that. It was like somebody was moving my mouth and working my mind for me.

This can't be good.

Once I got home, I saw my moms car in the driveway, but there were no lights on in the house. I ran to the door, grabed my key and barged inside.

"Mom? Are you here? Mom?"

"Looking for Liz?"

"Melrose?"

"Hello Lucas. Long time no see. Thought you died or something. Guess your stronger that you used to be."

"Where is my mom?"

"She isn't here. I belive that there is a note on the firge about going out on a date or something like that?"

"Is that so? Happy she is over the asshole. Anyways, what do you want from me Melrose. Thought I was to much of a bother to you?"

"Well, I thought you died, until I saw you in the woods with your friends the other day. Say, how did they take the reveal of the double-personality thing anyways?"

"They took it just fine thanks for asking. But a bitch like you wouldn't just be outhere for fun. What are you actually doing here?"

"I guess looking for some new cubs to take in. Maybe I will go and talk to that girl you went on a date with. I think her name was Thalia, if I remember correctly."

"Stay away from her Melrose."

I ran and tackled her to the ground, holding her wrists to the floor and my weight holding the rest down. She took her legs and wrapped them around my neck from behind, and pulled me backwords, her now on top of me.

"Remember. You are not stronger than me. I am your creater and you will obey me at any cost."

You could hear the boys start to pound, knock and yell on the door, but Michael's yelling was the clearest.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON LUKE. ARE YOU ALRIGHT? OPEN THE DOOR."

"You better get that Lucas. Don't want your friends to worry too much."

She swiftly stood up and ran out the back door. I got up and went to the front door to find my three best friends looking more worried than I have ever seen them.

"What's up guys?"

"What's up? Thats all you have to say? What was going on in there? I swear I heard growling. Was that you?"

Look to Ash to ask twenty questions.

"Nothing. I am fine. There was a person here I haven't seen in over a year and we got off on the wrong foot. That is all."

"Was it a person or a werewolf?"

"No comment."

"Alright. Play that game then. But what we really came here for. How was the date?"

"It went fantastic, and she agreed to another date on Friday. I am planning it though, so don't go and get any ideas Cal."

"Why me?"

"Cause you came up with the first one."

We all walked in and sat down. They mentioned a party on Saturday and asked me if I would go. I of course said yes. I started to stop listening and think more about Melrose. What was she doing back here and why did she want to bother me and my friends?
