Chapter 14

Like I promised, another update to make up for being absent.

Luke's P.O.V.

As I am walking into school the next morning, I can't get over the feeling of being watched or followed.  I can't decide which yet. When I turn the corner, somebody collided with my chest, pushing them to the ground. 

"Damn it asshole. Watch whe-"

"Hey Thalia.  Sorry bout that. I wasn't watching where I was going."

"We need to stop running into each other like this.  My butt is starting to get bruises."

And there is the sarcasm.

I helped her pick up her thing off the floor and then helped her off the floor.  I decided to walk her to her first class for a change.

"Hey. So about Friday. Do you want to give me any hints as to what we are doing?"

"Lets just say, what you are wearing today is probably perfect for what were doing."

She was wearing ripped, black skinny jeans, a Bring me the Horizon cut-off, a black and white checkered flannel and black vans. 

"I will take that into consideration then."

"Hey lovebirds.  Look who is matchy matchy."

"Hi to you to Kim.  At lease we don't go to the library to read different books right next to each other like another couple that I know."

"It is not weird.  It fun.  But look at the two lovies that are wearing matching Bring me the Horizon shirts and flannels."

"Girls. Girls. Lets not fight at such an early point in the morning.  It hasn't even struck 8am and your having a play fight.  I am too tired to listen to this."

"Ok Ash the crab.  What has you up in a twist?"

"Your boyfriend here.  He is keeping something from me and it is bothering me muy mucho.  I hate not knowing what he is planning."

"I am not telling you or anybody anything.  Sorry.  I want it to be a secret to everyone."

"It must be big then Lucas."

"Don't call me that."

I got so defensive over that name. Only two people ever called me that and I despise both of them.

"Why not, Lucas?"

"I said stop."

Saying few words would only help if he stopped, but of course he didn't.

"Oh, come on Lucas. What is so bad about that. It is just a simple name. Lucas. Lucas. Lucas. It is a great name if you ask me."

"Hey Thalia.  I forgot my laptop in my car.  I will see you in gym ok?"

"Ya. Sure.  See you in gym."

I need to go for a run and maybe look for Melrose while I am at it.

Thalia's P.O.V.

"Hey Thalia.  I forgot my laptop in my car.  I will see you in gym ok?"

"Ya. Sure.  See you in gym."

And with that, he walked off.

"Thanks a lot Ashton.  You made him leave.  What is wrong with you this morning."

"Nothing.  I was just stating my opinion. I wonder what is up his ass right now."

"Oh. I don't know.  Maybe it is the person who kept making fun of a nickname that he clearly doesn't like?"

"Ok.  Well I am sorry about that but he could have handled that one better."

Ashton looked like he was hiding something from me.  Well, not just Ashton.  All of the boys.  They were acting awfully suspicious the last couple of days.  And I was determened to find out.

Btw, this is all happening in like the first week, so it is really packed in there.  And no, Thalia and Luke arn't boyfriend and girlfriend yet.
