Bloody Blade

Dark as the coffee, scary as a nightmare.
You're eyes were cheerful, but your words were a blade.
You're façade is beige, but your inside is a darker shade.
And yet, I am still here despite all the pain.

I've heard it all, bared with you through it all, but it's still a blade.
Cutting a shred after a shred, but never mind it's just words.
But sadly enough, words do hurt.
A dagger in my heart is a word came out in a blurt.

Still smiling, you're here.
Mesmerizing eyes filling me with fear.
Whether to leave or to resume talking they're just the same.
Because both will keep me insane.
Too done with staying but too afraid of going.

And it's there in your mouth,
The poison you're spraying at me.
It's here in my heart,
The bloody blade you carved in me.
