A/N: I am Arab, so I actually thought of sharing some of the best Arabic poems with you with their English translation.
كن جميلا
الكاتب اللبناني الليا ابو ماضي
أيُهَذا الشّاكي و ما بِكَ دَاءٌ....
كَيْفَ تَغْدُو إِذا غَدَوْتَ عَليلاَ؟
إنَّ شَرَّ الجُناةِ في الأَرْضِ نَفْسٌ...
تَتَوقَّى قَبْلَ الرَّحيلِ الرَحيلاَ.
و تَرَى الشَّوْكَ في الوُرودِ و تَعمى....
أنْ تَرَى فَوْقَها النَّدى إكليلاَ.
هـُوَ عِبْءٌ عَلى الحَيَاةَ ثَقيل...
مَنْ يَظُنُّ الحَياةَ عِبْئاً ثَقيلاَ.
و الَّذي نَفْسُهُ بِغَيْرِ جَمَالٍ...
لا يَرَى في الحَياةِ شَيْئًا جَمِيلاَ.
فَتَمَتَّعْ بِالصُّبْحِ ما دُمْتَ فِيه...
لا تَخَفْ أَنْ يَزُولَ حَتَّى يَزُولَا.
أيُهَذا الشَّاكِي و ما بِكَ دَاءٌ...
كُنْ جَمِيلاً تَر الوُجودَ جَمِيلاَ.
Translation
Be kind

Oh! You complainer when life ain't that bad...
Then how will you react when you get in real pain?
The worst crime a person would ever commit to himself...
Is awaiting death when it's still far away.
And to see the thorns in the flowers but be blind....
To see the rain droplets on its top like a beautiful tiara.
He is a heavy weight on life...
Who thinks that life's a heavy weight.
And whose soul is not beautiful...
Won't see in life anything beautiful.
So enjoy the morning when it's still there...
And don't be afraid that it goes before it does.
Oh! You complainer when life ain't that bad...
Be kind to see the world kind.
