Ain't Lasting

Life is good, ain't that true?
But when we die where does it go?
I figured out I don't need that world,
'Cause someday I'll be somewhere, like a bird.

Don't get attached because people go,
No one last and that's the truth.
And no one can't live without a person.
You're born alone, will die alone,
So learn to live it alone.

It ain't lasting, trust me, fellow.
I am here to serve my mission an go.
To where? I still don't know.
But I'm living to do a thing that unlike me, doesn't go.

I am here to help lives, that were about to end,
To keep smiles that were about to disappear,
To see what needs to be adjusted,
And to be remembered for when I sleep.

Don't live to gain, just live to give.
Be honest, love and forgive.
Help to make a better world,
So when you leave, people feel their lives have changed.
You're needed to teach someone desperate how to live.
Maybe one day you'll need the same.

I don't care about this life anymore.
'Cause it ain't lasting anyway.
I am working here so when I die,
I'd be remembered with a reputation that will never die
