AN:- SHE'S FINALLY GONNA SAY IT !!! 🎉🤩
OR IS SHE... 😏🤦♂️🙈
Licking my lower lip, my glimmering orbs peeked up at him with slight fascination from under my lowered lashes. There was just something so crazily beautiful about him that one single glance was all it took for all my senses to be blown away, raptured enticingly by his majestic aura.
"What are you trying to say?" He urged, hands drawing me closer to his body.
"I mean to say that I've tried so hard to keep you at an arm's length and to push you away but I can never seem to keep my own self away from you for too long."
The words seemed to flow out of me easily, as I pushed my fear down to a binding oblivion cage, letting myself finally speak of all that had been locked away in my heart for so long. I curled my fingers around his, feeling the warmth of his digits encase mine like a buzzing firefly. The feelings I was getting from just breaking free of my own cage was amazingly blissful and now that I had tasted it, I never wanted to stop this magic from filling my veins, its sweet touch intoxicatingly gripping.
"You're like a magnet that I gravitate towards, no matter where I am. I always seek out your face in the crowds and it's your smile that lights up my world. You're my hope and I've always wanted what's in your best interests."
"Shouldn't I be the one to decide what's best for me?" He enquired, his gaze gentle as he lovingly peered down at me.
I shook my head with a comfortable smile. "I know better." I teased. "I'm the wife remember."
His shoulders shook with silent laughter as he lightly brushed his nose in a second Eskimo kiss against mine, making me giggle as well.
He was so warm...
Oh Gosh, it was so lullingly mesmerising, I could die happily in these very arms, feeling as though my heaven was already fluttering around me.
"Wife." He mused, rolling the word lazily around in his mouth.
"Yes, wife." I reiterated, letting my bravery keep a front seat, despite the rage of butterflies swarming inside of me. "That's what I am."
"Does this mean what I think it does?"
I shrugged my shoulders, a playful smirk tugging on my lips. "What are you thinking this is?"
He gave me a smouldering look. "That you're agreeing."
"Agreeing to what?" I countered, liking this subtle dodging that we were engaging in.
Effortlessly he then lifted both of us up into a standing position with one single swift movement. Chuckling he locked eyes with mine, his stare sending butterflies shooting around me at the promise they held.
"We'll continue this conversation later on when we're a little more," He traced a sultry design on my hip bone, my lips parting as an immediate response. "Alone..." He finished by sweetly pecking each of my cheeks, one at a time.
I blushed rose, smiling bashfully. "Mhm, I'm looking forward to that time." I said.
"Soon, my love." He whispered. "Very soon now."
I grinned, my dimple making a show up as I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his cheekbone. "Hurry." I murmured into his skin. "I don't want to wait any longer."
He was about to respond to my brazen move of possessiveness just as a choking cough startled us both, making us look behind at the commotion. I barely reigned in my suppressed annoyance, as I wandered at what that startling sound was and where it had come from.
"Uh, Tae are you okay?" I slapped his back gingerly as he coughed manically with a clown like expression on his shocked face.
Turns out Taemin had gotten his own spit stuck down the wrong pipe and was choking wildly on that, his eyes almost bursting out at the frenzy that had overtaken his body all of a sudden.
"N-Nuna!" He gasped out.
"Yaah Taemin! Stop choking on your spit and breathe properly!"
"Nuna you-"
"I what?!" I asked just as Kibum also hurriedly spoke up.
"Oh my god!" Kibum slapped a palm to his forehead in horror, his orbs widening to tennis balls as he looked at all of us- more so at Taemin, with a meek and worried facial expression.
"What is it?" I asked wearily, looking back and forth between him and Taemin; who had thankfully by now recovered from his stupidity and looked as lost as he generally always did.
I rolled my eyes good-naturedly at that, leaning back a smidgen, finding to my great pleasure that JongHyun was stood right behind me, letting me fall back onto him with ease and serenity. My body languidly rested against his, his warm and broad shoulders supporting my weight and keeping me stood upright.
"Taemin..."
"What is it Hyung?" He replied also now catering worry lines on his face as he gazed jadedly at Kibum who was still somewhat ashen looking.
"Please tell me that we paid for all that food we ordered back there?"
"I thought you did Hyung..." He spoke back slowly, a mirroring look copying onto his face.
"I didn't..." Kibum said just as monotonously slowly as Taemin had. "I was under the impression that you would have..."
"Well..." Taemin squeaked out, looking utterly flabbergasted at the surprising turn of events.
"OMO!"
"Now what?" Taemin looked fed up as he regretfully asked.
"Did we leave all the food we ordered there as well!?" He added more frenzied at this thought then the lack of payment that both he and Taemin had successfully achieved.
I rolled my eyes, sniggering into my palm at the sheer idiocy that was these two. I was enjoying watching this spectacle roll about, having no intention to do anything to actively get up and fix it, wanting to just lay back and do nothing for once. The ones who had reaped this mess could be the ones to sow it now, my interest waned and thin. The owner was probably already writing these twos name down on the banned list as a result of their stupidity, I thought, lightly chuckling at the thought.
Taemin scratched his head sheepishly. "Uh... yeah..."
"Oh crap!"
Kibum looked at Taemin who looked just as fearful as he did, the pair's emotions seeming to be in perfect synchrony, the two of them sharing a silent conversation with their eyes before shooting up from the bench and sprinting off. Kibum wobbled a bit on his feet, making me wince as that was probably due to me, but even then he still hurried on after Taemin, the two of them rounding the corner and disappearing speedily out of sight.
"We should follow them, right?" I posed amusedly.
JongHyun had his hands deep in his pockets looking just about as baffled as I felt when I turned on my heel to peer back at him. "Uh, I guess so." He replied, scratching his head.
"Come on." I said to him. "Let's go to Cafe Diane and oh, oh I can finally show you the brownies that I really like." I clapped excitedly, that singular thought registering in my mind.
Chuckling, he bowed his head at me, indicating for me to once again take the lead. "Good thing I'm hungry."
Laughing I skipped forward and hurried on to Cafe Diane, really excited to have JongHyun taste something I really enjoyed indulging in myself. Getting to the cafe my eyes immediately scoured the place landing on two familiar mops who were sat opposite each other, profusely bowing and apologising to a rosy-cheeked, plump and extremely angry looking older lady stood in front of their table.
I felt JongHyun's presence rest behind me and I smiled turning around to look at him. "You ready to eat some of the best brownies of your life?"
He gave me a sideways smile. "With you TaeHee, I'm always ready."
My grin stretched out wide across my face. "Come on then."
