JongHyun was about to go hurtling after him when he suddenly thought better of it and turning around to face me, he slipped his palm into mine and gently smiling through angered orbs, led me out the shop. Leaving those tight confines was a paradise and I felt my lungs stretch in a large gulp of fresh air, my panic finally decreasing the more the distance stretched.
My fingers tightened around his and I let my head rest on his shoulder as we walked, the craving to be near him so high, it was dizzying. We got to his car in what felt like seconds but was actually long mindless minutes and with a muted heated sigh, he reluctantly disentangled our palms and cupped my face tenderly.
"Are you okay?"
Nodding I gave him a small smile. "I think the shock of what he did and wanted to do really got to me then, but I promise you that I'm okay now- the shock is wearing off and I feel fine- a lot better now."
I gave him an honest reply, showing him with my eyes my sincerity. His eyes creased in concern as he absent mindedly rubbed my cheeks. I saw his faraway state of mind and wrapped my arms tightly around him, burying my face in his chest for a reassuring embrace. I placed a soft kiss on his chin when I finally looked up.
"Don't be blaming yourself for this JongHyun." I knew what he was thinking and it hurt me that he was beating himself up over it. "What happened back there wasn't your fault and I don't want you to ever feel like it was!"
"I shouldn't have left you alone..."
I gave him a reprimanding look. "It's not your fault." I repeated. "You couldn't have known what his intentions were, so please don't blame yourself for this."
"What if he seriously hurt you, TaeHee?"
"But he didn't!" I gave his cheek a soft peck. "He definitely scared me with his cheap advances but I'm okay JongHyun and that's all that matters."
He looked fear stricken and sorrowful still, as he lifted my chin to look down at the marks made on my neck by the necklace. He unclasped the necklace from around my neck and threw the offending piece of jewellery away on the ground somewhere. The sound of it shattering was very satisfying to hear, almost as if his actions and his touch was being thrown off me as well.
He bowed his head as he bent down to place his lips on the red marks. "I'm so sorry TaeHee."
"Please don't blame yourself JongHyun." I rubbed his cheek softly.
He only pressed his face further into the crook of my neck, his body stance clearly telling me how much this was eating at him.
"I'm okay JongHyun." I caressed his silky strands, rubbing his shoulders to help reassure him that I really was okay.
My gaze flitted onto the bracelet also on me and with a quick snap twisted my hand in such a way that the beads and diamonds instantly scattered about everywhere, the band around me disembarking onto the dirty cobblestones of the car park.
"Sooo, I'm your woman huh?" I attempted a cheery tone to uplift his dampened spirits.
His head lazily lifted up from the crook of my neck to gaze at me. "My woman." He confirmed, running a sweet hand down the length of my face. "My TaeHee."
I nuzzled my nose with his gently. "And you are mine." I whispered.
"I'm so scared of what could possibly happen if you're with me but I don't want to be without you." I pressed a palm to his chest. "You make me feel so alive and happy and despite all my fears I just can't seem to let you go."
He kissed my palm before gently sliding something onto my right middle finger. "Be my woman."
I gazed down at the beautiful slim diamond band on my finger, admiring its elegance. "I thought I already was."
He chuckled. "Officially this time."
I rested my forehead on his before kissing him soundly on the mouth. Pulling away I looked at him adoringly.
"Does that answer your question?"
He swung me around, so I was leaning on the car as he looked over at me as I chuckled at the sheer happiness on his face. "You and I are most definitely going on our vacation now."
"I can't wait." I smirked, looping my arms comfortably around his neck.
And in that moment right then and there I felt as if though I had never felt more complete in my entire life, as I smiled happily into my lover's mouth as he took my lips with his for a sweet kiss.
He and I.
It was just us two, the way it was always meant to be.

ALSO, I'm quite aware that there are a few events that I've mentioned in here that I've not really written about, one of the main ones being the party at the Lee household and the getaway that JongHyun plans to take TaeHee on.

I do plan to get them written out as well BUT as separate OneShots. I will however in the authors note put up a little disclaimer that this is from You and I, so that there's no confusion with the other OneShots I write.
