"I'd suggest trying the double chocolate chip deluxe frappe."

A sweet voice sounded from by my side making me look back in ire at who was choosing to bother me at such a vexed moment in my life. Whoever it was had best start writing their will because I was so going to slaughter them like a lamb on a cheat meal!

"Excuse me?"

The owner of the voice; a godly looking attractive man shot me a wide grin as I turned my head an annoyed fraction to stare at his impending bubbly presence stood behind me.

"May I take that as your order?"

"What?" I blankly snapped at the smiling male stood before me, making my body fully turn around to stare at him in befuddled annoyance.

"Your order." He repeated as if I were an invalid.

"Yeah, I got that." I rolled my eyes.

He chuckled, biting down on his lower lip averting my attention momentarily to the flesh he had puckered in between his whites.

"... take... your..."

"Huh?" I looked up slightly dazed. "W-what did you say?"

His lips pulled into a soft smirk. "May I take that as your order?"

"Take what as my order?" I repeated a little lost on the topic of discussion as I had been slightly er- distracted.

He full on grinned at me then as I coughed into my palm hiding my in the moment twinge of embarrassment. "The double chocolate chip deluxe frappe."

"What about it?"

He once again bit down on his lip driving me a little insane at the sketch it pulled in my mind, clearly highly amused at what was going on. "Would you like me to add that as your order?"

"Why would I?" I asked baffled.

He cocked a brow. "It's a very luscious drink."

"So is getting home on time."

He raised a single brow. "I'm sure that by the time you finish your drink the rain will have stopped."

"How can you say that with such assurity?"

He shrugged, gently grinning my way. "Gut feeling."

I narrowed my eyed at him as I made a disgruntled face. "What are you?" I eyed him distastefully, getting slightly unnerved for some reason. "Go away."

He hid his tickled delighted smile in his notepad, before molding his face to look back at me with the same sweet smile as before. "I'm the Barista here."

"And that concerns me how?!" I raised an irritated brow at him, just wanting the goddamn rain to stop pouring out buckets of its miserable sorrow from the skies.

I couldn't help the ire I felt either at him answering the question I had posed, as I had meant it as a 'get lost' gesture but he hadn't caught that hint very well.

Stupid, attractive fool...

"Well I saw you stood here all drenched looking and woeful-"

"You don't say." I wryly muttered, rolling my eyes at his noteful but not flattering observation.

He chuckled lightly, not deterred in the minutest bit by the angst in my tone. "Every customer is welcome here, no matter how much mess they bring in with them." He said, going as far as to spread his arms out humbly as he tipped his head in my direction.

"Are you calling me dirty?!" I stared at him with affronted irritance.

He cocked an amused brow, his goddamn teeth pulling at his lip again. "Not at all ma'am, the very opposite in fact."

"You need to stop doing that!" I raked a hand through my hair in frustration, feeling the wet of my scalp remind me of what had just become of my new hairstyle.

"Stop doing what?"

"That." I pointed at him, my cheeks a hint of red.

"What do you mean?" He quizzed, his tongue lapping at the flesh of his mouth.

"Oh my fucking God." I actually whimpered a little as I stared gobsmacked at him.

"Are you okay?"

"Damn that is distracting as hell..."

His eyes screwed in confusion before he followed where I was staring so raptly at and with a smirking grin he bit down again, a husky chuckle rasping in his throat. My eyes flitted upwards to his and I blushed brightly at the knowing glint that shined in his orbs.

"What are you still doing here?" I coughed, regaining my senses and looking away from him as if I had never been looking that way in the first place.

"So fucking beautiful."

"What?" My eyes snapped to his, wide with surprise.

"I'll be back with your order." He flashed me a cheeky smile, his eyes dark with a hint of something unknown.

"I don't want anything."

"You'll love this drink." He said firmly, a pleasing grin etched across his face. "It's one of the best we have and loved by all who try it."

"For your sake it better be." I grumbled, his earlier hushed words still ringing in my mind.

He chuckled kissing his teeth as he lifted his hand out. "May I?"

"Leave?" I made a pointed face at him. "Yes, you may."

He bit down on his lower lip, and my eyes screwed shut, the jump of my hormones about to drive me insane as he didn't seem to be stopping with his heart attacks anytime soon.

"Oh my God, just leave already." I shivered, shooing him away.

A husky delightful chuckle sounded from his throat. "I'll be right back with your order." He cheerfully grinned at me as I looked up annoyed at his peppy tone, my eyes following him as he glided away back to his place behind the counter getting started with the amazing concoction he had somehow convinced me to take.
