10 minutes passed, David and Frisk were taking their time enjoying the chips, they accidentally bought too much. To speed things up, they gave some of the chips to the monsters that Alphys conducted experiments on. David was hesitant at first, but when he figured out that one experiment was just a combination of so many dogs, he treated the rest as if they were still the monsters they were then. Eventually, the chips ran out, the experiments were satisfied enough to not attack, and David and Frisk were prepared for the fight ahead of them. David pushed the loose button and activated the special elevator to the castle. Frisk and David entered the elevator, but decided to not do anything just yet. There was a small silence, but then David said

"Should we tell them? Undyne? Papyrus? Toriel? Everyone that we're... on our way home?"

Frisk thought for a moment, she looked unsure and said

"I don't know, David. They may not like the fact that we're about to kill their king, but they may help prevent the fighting, thanks to the kindness we have shown them."

David nodded in agreement to what Frisk said and replied

"That's a good point. I hope you're right. I'd love to see everyone again."

Frisk giggles and said "Even Undyne?"

David didn't expect that question to come from Frisk, he was going to talk but Frisk kept talking

"Just because I'm young doesn't mean I don't know love when I see it."

David became embarrassed and tried to retort

"Shut up! That's only because of the memories I got back! If I didn't remember anything at all about the nice things about Undyne, then I probably would've just stayed friends!"

Frisk looked at David with a doubtful, smug look and said "Sure you would."

Suddenly, Frisk's phone rang. Frisk answered the phone and put it on speaker mode so David could hear, the voice sounded unfamiliar

"Chara... are you there? It's been a long time, hasn't it? But you've done well. Thanks to you and David, everything has fallen into place. Chara... see you soon."

The call ended and the elevator door behind David and Frisk immediately shut closed.

"What the hell?!" David exclaimed.

The elevator began to shake, the lights flickered on and off, and the speaker of the elevator played this awful siren sound that could rupture ear drums if turned up at full volume. David and Frisk closed their eyes and then they suddenly woke up in a place of grey where only the vegetation was colored. Frisk was calm and relaxed, but David was purely confused and said

"What was that?! After everything I've been through, I've never experienced something like that!"

Frisk didn't bother to explain what happened, so she just said

"Yeah, that's what I thought the first time, too."

David remembered that Gaster said Frisk had the power to RESET the events of the adventure they've been on today. David attempts to get Frisk's input on RESET-ing as they walked around, he said

"So, what's it like? Resetting and all that. Does anybody remember when you do it?"

Frisk thought for a moment and said

"It's... a little weird. When I did the first reset, only certain things could be remembered from others. Take Flowey for example, remember when he said that I killed him and killing him wouldn't stop him? Well, that was my previous reset. Of course I knew that killing him then wouldn't stop him here, I only did it just to get the neutral run over with to get to the pacifist run. Instead, I found an entirely new way on how today's event could go. Stumbling to you is what changed everything."
