Chapter 10

It was the next day and I woke up on the couch.

I remembered the girl I placed in my bedroom so I got up from the couch to check to see if she was still there and if she was to send her on her merry way.

I opened up my bedroom and the girl bolted awake.

"Sorry didn't mean to wake you, just wanted to see if you were alright," I said.

"Head hurts so bad!" She replied.

Drinking does that!

"I'll get you aspirin and water, hang on."

I got an aspirin from the bathroom and then a glass of water and walked back into my bedroom and handed her both items.

"Thank you."

"No problem," I said and left.

The place was a mess! So I started to clean up a bit.

There was a knock at the door and I wondered who could it be.

I opened up the door and I knew I was going to be in big trouble because it was Davina!

"Good morning, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"After a night of partying, I figured you could use a cappuccino and baked goodies and by the looks of it, help cleaning up the mess."

She walked in and placed the coffee tray that had three cups and the bag of baked goodies on the table. She then placed her hands on my shirt and pulled me to her. She was about to kiss me when I decided I should tell her something first.

"Davina I need to tell you something before you kiss me."

"Dude what a way to ruin the moment when I was going to kiss you!"

"Sorry but I need to be honest."

"Hurry up then."

"There is a girl in my bed but I slept on the couch I promise! The reason why there was a girl in my bed is because she was very drunk last night and she thinks her friend ditched her. I wanted to be a good guy so I placed her in my room so she could sleep the alcohol off. I promise that nothing happened. If you don't believe me ask Declan."

"I believe you."

"Seriously? I mean I did tell the truth but you believe me?!?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"You were by my side while I was in the hospital and you were by my side while I was recovering. That proved to me that you at least cared about me enough to stick around, that you wouldn't do something stupid like hooking up with another female. Now if you are done confessing irrelevant things I'd like that kiss now."

I kissed her nice and slow at first. I probed her lips with my tongue wanting entrance which she gave and our tongues meet half way. I couldn't help myself when I backed her up against a wall as the kiss turned passionate and her hands started roaming under my shirt.

"Oh shit, sorry I didn't mean to interrupt." The chick said.

We pulled away.

"No problem," Davina said.

"I'm just going to look for my purse and then I'll leave you to it." She said.

"It's okay, I'll help you look. Where is Declan?" Davina asked.

"Probably asleep."

"Go wake him up because we are not going to clean the mess up by ourselves."
