Chapter 24

Three days later

Davina was taking me a karaoke bar.

She said she wanted me to get out of having stage fright but that I didn't have to sing if I didn't have too.

At first, I decided not to, but we did go to see people singing and to have a good time.

After seeing a few acts I changed my mind.

"You don't have to you know," Davina said.

"I know but I want too."

She gave me a quick kiss.

"Good luck."

I walked up on stage, closed my eyes and counted to three before I started belted out words.

"Bring her flowers on a weekday Run a bath just to let her know Just to let her know she means the world to me Make her dinner when she's home late Pull her close when she is getting cold Just to let her know she means the world to me."

I looked at Davina, she gave me the thumbs up sign with her free hand because she had her phone in her other.

"Tell me, how did I ever get so lucky That she wasn't with somebody? So that I could have her for my own, my own, my own Thinking, how could anyone pass the feeling Of the sound of her footsteps leaving? Walking all alone, alone, alone."

I took a deep breath before I continued.

"Now she's beside me, can't stop thinking Why did you ever think to let her go? Not complaining, I'm just saying Your loss is mind to hold So to the man who let her go I'm thanking you the most, you the most. I would never wanna hurt her I would never wanna make her cry Now I got a chance to make it right She would never ask for For me to make time The time to spend with her, and only her."

I took one more deep breath.

"Now she's beside me, can't stop thinking Why did you ever think to let her go? Not complaining, I'm just saying Your loss is mind to hold So to the man who let her go I'm thanking you the most, you the most."

There was a lot of cheering and clapping after I was done singing.

I got off the stage and sat back down beside Davina. She quickly gave me a kiss.

"I am proud of you for going up there." She said.

I smiled.

"What were you doing with your phone?"

"You'll see when we get home later."

"Can we go home now? Not because I want you to tell me the answer to the question I asked but because I'd like to get out of her for more kisses."

"Oh really now?"

"Yes please," I said as I placed my hand on her thigh.

"Naughty boy."

"I'm am yours though," I said as I kissed her on her neck first then nuzzled my head.

"You just said the right words."

We left the bar and I drove Davina back to her place.

She unlocked her front door and we went inside.

I backed her up against the wall and kissed her passionately.

I pulled away from kissing her and started to drag her towards her playroom.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"The paddle with "mine" use it on me. I want to be claimed."
